ARK Liqour, specifically this location, has the best real tequila section in the Okanagan. They have a great line of real, additive, free, award-winning tequila versus all the sweet tourist crap. Super knowledgable and friendly staff, and we love going there.

I love the staff at this store! Always knowledgable and helpful. However, I've had to stop shopping at any ARC Liquor store because of the strike that's been ongoing at the Guisichan location for a couple of months now. I'm shopping elsewhere for the duration of the strike and requesting all my Union brothers and sisters so the same

In the last 3 months I’ve been here their staff have claimed that their system has been down therefore they were not “able to take my points”. Yet they take my tel number and write it behind the receipt. Yet the man behind me tonight has no problem claiming their points as a walk away from the teller. Pretty shady people working here. I go back into the store demanding if I received my points & the teller tells me yes. I asked him when was the last time I received points and he said October. I was there in December- spent over $200 - the staff on the evening of December 30th STOLE my points. They tried again tonight but I caught him. I will talk to the manager. I’m disgusted and I hope this helps people. I must say the staff that works the day shift are fabulous - the night shift however are SHADY!!

Business sold and the prices are a joke now. I used to stomach paying a bit more because I enjoyed the convenience and the staff are nice & helpful. But now the premium you pay here compared to literally anywhere else in Kelowna is absurd. Not to mention they added a tip option. Yikes.

I placed an online order for some champagne for my friend’s bachelorette, which I was unable to attend due to being in a different part of the province. Shannon was so helpful in arranging a surprise delivery— she was quick to respond and went out of her way to accommodate my requests, including a card and out-of-limits delivery. Great service!

I will begin by saying that this was a special request for a gift package to be delivered to an employee's house, and the fact they went out of their way to provide this service was appreciated. However, if any hiccups arise along the way, please just keep me in the loop!

On Monday, I spoke to a lady and asked if Urban Liquor would be able to do deliver a beer basket to an employee's house. She said, though they don't normally provide that service, they would be able to do it. I gave her my budget, which we specified included the cost of delivery.

The next day, when I processed the payment, I realized they did not include the cost of delivery in the budget. The lady must not have passed on the message to include the cost in the budget, but, because it was only $8, I did not pay it much mind.

I specified on the delivery form to have it delivered by 5:45 pm. I also spoke with the manager to confirm it would be delivered by 5:45, so our employee was waiting at his house for it to arrive.

At 9:00 pm Tuesday, I received a message from the employee saying the basket had still not arrived. Of course, nobody wants to attend to work matters this late at night, and I thought it was strange that nobody reached out to either myself or the person to whom the package was being delivered to say there was a delay. It was kind of stressful having to deal with that late at night. I called the liquor store, and they said that there was a mishap with the packaging, which is why the delivery did not go out on time. This was not my primary concern - it was the lack of communication.

Today, which is Wednesday, the order arrived at our employee's house just before noon. All in all, everything worked out, and the beer basket looked awesome! I called the manager, and he apologized, which I appreciated. However, I asked if there was any possibility of some sort of compensation (I was going to ask that we receive the $8 delivery fee back as there was a miscommunication regarding the budget), but he said that because they went out of their way to do this service, there would be no possibility of compensation.

From this situation, there are several learning opportunities and areas for growth for both parties. On their part, even though they did go out of their way to deliver on this service, it was still slightly disappointing from the customer's point of view that there was unnecessary stress involved in the process due to a lack of communication. Today, when I spoke with the manager, I wish he took more time to hear me out.

Would I use this company again? Yes, the product they delivered was great, and the presentation was impressive. However, there are learning opportunities for the future, and I am sure that they could make great business of beer and wine basket deliveries if they refine the process a little bit for the future.
