I shopped today Monday June 23rd, 2025 and checked out at 11:27. I always worry when I go through the checkout lines that are manned by staff, as I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and my hands are quite crooked and I have trouble grasping small or heavy items, which makes my bagging experience terrible because I worry about holding the customer behind me up.
Usually I get good service from your staff. HOWEVER, this time, Abbey G was an ABSOLUTE DREAM!!!!! So friendly and understanding, I told her I could help....she did it all for me while I paid with my debit card.
More like this young lady. An asset to your company. At least I hope she is recognized as such!!!

3rd time I was ripped off. They over charged me for an item on their sale paper 3:49 and charged me 6:00. I wasn't well and didn't notice until I got home. these corporations are greedy & sick

Terrible checkout experience. I don't know why they can't scan and bag the groceries at the same time!
I stopped going to sobey's cause they won't bag my groceries. And now this isn't even much better standing there awkwardly looking at each other at this big mountain of groceries that should have been put into bags, as you were going

Non too please with my checkout experience. The cashier was very passive aggressive and was actively tossing my food around. Darn good thing I didn't get eggs.

Could I have taken everything out of the green bin, yes. I'll admit to that but to give a reaction like that is far below the quality of a customer service rep.

I will actively choose other grocery stores moving forward.

The new update on the Self-checkouts is ridiculous. I understand the concept of the update but the surface area of the scale is far too small. You have to perform a grocery item balancing act to keep things from falling off. Figure it out.
