This review is from my mother and let me tell you she had nothing bad to say. Aline was incredibly nice and more than helpful. She helped throughout the whole application process and went over and above to ensure everything was solidified correctly and made her feel content and secure with the decision to move there. Nice and caring is an understatement. If she was able to give 10 stars she would.

My mother and I lived there for 3.5 years and let me tell you, that was the worst experience of my life. The management is super unprofessional, told us about medical/physical issues and disorders of our neighbors
we never asked to know this information and we knew that meant they would tell strangers about our issues as well. Definitely picked favourites and would never listen to our side also very hypocritical. When we moved in we were told it was “newly renovated”, they just slapped paint on everything (not even well) and we had black mold under our kitchen sink, no screens on our windows, the front door didn’t close properly etc. We had neighbours above us who would stomp all day and even passed “quiet time”. The management said they talked to them and they said that the neighbors knew they walked heavily but if we ever complained the management would just be annoyed at US for complaining about not being able to get sleep. We were told to get a noise machine and ear plugs because “they can’t do anything”. Over a year later we get new neighbours below us who had kids running and screaming all day, we would walk heavier because we were getting tired of being the only ones who had common decency. The lady below thought we should never make noise so if she heard our steps she’d come up to our door ringing and banging on our door. She’d see us through the door and call us vile names. She was never in trouble for verbally abusing us but we were told to walk lighter during the day. The management would try and come into our place or turn off our water without the right amount of notice. Didn’t believe us when we told them the boiler wasn’t working (in winter) and when they finally got off their butts and checked
 it wasn’t working what a shocker, we were cold for over a week because they chose to ignore our complaints. That apartment was the WORST place I’ve even lived in and it caused severe depression and anxiety for us and they knew that. I would like to tell everyone DO NOT GO WITH AVENUE LIVING IF YOU WANT TO BE HAPPY. We are considering taking them to court for how much of a migraine they put us through when living there. There was more they did that should never happen but I hope this was a good enough warning for anyone considering them.

My daughter’s critique below-she was on the lease and you guys know it. Scammy, uninterested in doing their jobs, told me to contact the RCMP for noise complaints. Was also given short notice about the power switch over and kept some of the $ i overpaid them in rent the following month. I have lived in a few rentals around Alberta, but Avenue is scummy as they nickel and dime you for the security fees. I could write a multiple page complaint but my daughter hit on some of the main ones in her complaint. If you like hearing what everyone else is doing around you, this is the place to live. Not if you wan privacy or peace and quiet. I have “everlasting memories” of being disregarded and disrespected, treated like garbage. Right, Deanna?

Very unprofessional and hard to get a response out of anyone there. I contacted 3 different employees there about my updated rent payment because they gave us 1 week to find our own utilities due to a "utility policy change". I found my own utility provider and they said they would lower the rent but no one gave me an answer to what the new rent was until 2 and a half months after. I moved 4 months ago and still haven't got my refund for paying more then I should have for rent. As well they tried to blame me for damages that were there before I moved in when we already discussed it prior to the move in.
Never felt like a home more so a very neglected motel.
