Spoke with a very lovely woman today about the selection of silver rings at the store, and man am I happy I did! She was extremely nice to speak with and answered all the questions I had. Gave lots of info regarding the rings, and didn’t push me into make a decision. I ended up taking two, and left feeling proud of my purchase. First consignment store I’ve found with this selection of jewelry! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to support local business and purchase unique and affordable rings/jewelry.

Baja Rosi’s buying process (selling your clothing to them) is incredibly inefficient. I went at 10:10 AM, 10 minutes after the store opened on a Tuesday morning. I waited over 45 minutes, and there were still 3 people ahead of me, I left as I didn’t want to spend another 45 waiting in line. A huge waste of time to maybe sell a few items.

I sell at Flavour Upstairs all the time, and you just drop your items off, then they call you to pick up. No line, no hangers. They also give you store credit or cash upfront. Quick and easy.

The buying process of this business needs to be changed. Plus the poor lady going through the items has to do it in front of the customers, it must be so stressful for her to have people waiting. This isn’t the affect of low staff, or high volume, it’s the result of poor business practices and a need to update the systems in place.

I gave this store $1000's of dollars worth of revenue over 7-8 years only to have them not actually even know what my name was.....items which were sold were not paid to me because they apparently "must have been stolen" which even though they are a business which has insurance.....I had to take a complete loss for the "stolen items".....and then they "claimed" that an item had not sold until the end of the contract at which time they put it on at half price without letting me know and at that point it apparently sold.....even though I hadn't seen it at all in the display area any of the times I was there. That particular item was a high valued coach bag which I would have kept had they given me the respect of asking before "apparently" dropping the price to far below what it was worth. When I questioned them they got defensive and attacking and told me to not come back. Which was more than fine with me as I dont appreciate being lied to and being treated disrespectfully after having brought their store close to 10000 dollars of revenue. I am not sure what has happened to customer service these days, but this store is a perfect example of what it should not be anything like.

Such a great find! Lots of fun clothes that are clean and in style. The lady working there was super friendly and helpful as I browsed the store. I wasn't sure what exactly I was looking for but I had a good time looking through the clothing that was very well organized. I love vintage shopping and I usually take my time to really go through the items so I don't miss anything. No one there seemed to be in any hurry which was great. I enjoyed my time looking and trying things on without feeling any pressure. This little shop is tucked into a corner at a busy intersection and you could easily miss it but it's so worth visiting. Great service, great selection and the vibe is casual. A must visit!

Their consignment system doesn't work. It's a waste of people's time. "No appointment is required" yet they're too full to take anything. First visit they weren't taking any more clothes. Second time, we arrived when they opened, and still had to wait over an hour.

They want you to look around the shop instead of dropping off and coming back. After having washed and ironed over 30 quality items, they only wanted to take a handful. And don't expect to get the same hangers back. The staff/owner were rude and disorganized. Total waste of time. The shop is filled with over priced junk anyway.

I urge you to SAVE yourself the TIME, stress and disappointment and donate to the new WIN Thrift Store in the Rexall complex near Thrifty's instead. Great cause, and a much more positive and rewarding experience than dealing with this 'business'.

Extremely poor service. I don’t mind not being greeted when I walk in, but to not acknowledge me at all is unacceptable. When I found an item to purchase the lady behind the counter ignored me, as she was having a long conversation with her friend. I stood there confused for a while, before I went to the other desk because I thought “maybe this isn’t the till?” Anyways, it was and the lady still never acknowledged me (the other girl left her station to come serve me.) I felt really uncomfortable in this store and I will not be back, nor do I recommend anyone shop here. There are better consignment stores with better prices and service.

Arrived at 10 at open as directed and there was already a line inside. I wait 45 minutes for my clothes to be reviewed and was not allowed to leave under threat of no service from the staff. When I absolutely had to leave I was asked to take my clothes and they would not consider them unless I stayed. Won’t be back. Surprised this store is still open.
