Was in the area and decide to visit this iconic coffee shop. Overall, the places designed very nice and it has a very interesting theme where it’s contemporary mixed with having a decent coffee shop.

Overall the quality of Balzacs top-tier, and today was the same. I visited services as quick and accommodating with getting also a really nice brioche bun and a nice iced latte.

Will definitely come back and visit again in the area. The price point is a little pricey, but you do get a very good high-quality service and beverage. I personally would come back and try the different types of ice drinks they have which are made really well. I do always wonder why there’s only one size for some things. But overall they do have a variety and options to choose from and overall design of the place is so nice.

This is a spacious balsacs location right outside the Vaughan metropolitan center Subway station.
There's plenty of patio seating as well as indoor seating. The interior is very clean and the Wi-Fi is fast. So great for working.
The staff were friendly and efficient. They have a variety of baked goods as well as hot and cold drinks. Highly recommend due to the convenient location and high quality Cafe goods.

Tried coffee of this location, it is just coffee. No freshness and taste, I rather not to test it, but it is good to know, searching for good coffee after biking put us in disappointment.

Beautiful new, clean, bright space with lots of coffee and dessert options. Ample seating inside with a bright outdoor patio that isn’t right next to a busy street. Nice area to walk around too.

2024:
Finally made it back after 11 months. Just as good as I remember it! Unfortunately I only got here once on our trip! But this time the pastries were all out on display! So we tried the chocolate croissants! Sooo good, I highly recommend them.
Can't wait to come back!

2023:
Found this place near our hotel, after checking them out online made it a point to stop by. I was not disappointed! I wish I lived near by so I could make it my regular stop for coffee! I got my normal "iced caramel latte", my son got and iced vanilla latte and my Mother in law got asked for something hot and chocolate.. I missed what the gal said but my Mother in law loved it! (I think it was the Mocha, but not sure)
Hoping to get back one more time before we leave town.
The fresh baked items were low by the time we got there, but what was still there looked fantastic, maybe next time!
There's some parking out front, my hubby waited in the car for us. We were in and out pretty fast, it was busy but not crowded (around 4pm)

We had two lattes, one pumpkin and the other regular. They were both terrible, having an aweful sour taste. There was something off with the pumpkin spice flavouring that simply didn't taste anything like it should have. The is far from the excellent coffee I have been accustom to getting at their other locations.

The croissants were very good, however.

Clean and wide space, friendly staff and lots to choose from! Offers great healthier alternatives to regular milk and sugar syrups.

Usually come here in the mornings and it’s not too busy. Usually takes only 1-2 mins for my drink to be ready. My go-to here are iced espressos and matcha lattes with plant-based milk. Pastries I am yet to try, but they look good. What I love the most about this location is that they provide plant based & regular milk options on the side and don’t charge for local brand honey if needed!

Today I ordered my first coffee at Balzac’s they are amazing. Very nice staff
Very good space and has amazing coffee.
A little expensive but I don't care because they have a very good coffee.
