Robert Joy's is a friendly and engaging guy, very knowledgeable. He replaced the stock barrel of my Ruger with a stainless heavy barrel. It shoots great, tiny groups at 100 yards. I recommend him to everyone that needs quality work done.

I had a rifle with a broken stock that needed some serious repair. Robert was able to fix the stock, refinished the barrel, trigger guard, drop-plate and polished and tuned the bolt. He did an outstanding job, in less time than he estimated and all on budget which was a fantastic price. This is may father's rifle that is being passed down to his Grandson and It looks fantastic now. I added some before and after photos.

This Review is for the gunsmith services provided by Bobby over at BIGFOOT FIREARMS in Salmon Arm, BC.

I am an aspiring trap shooter looking to compete at least at a local level. I use standard shotguns made by Remington (both the 870 & 1100 models) and many times the firearms in question need tweaking/customization so I can get optimal performance. Most of these jobs are smaller, but are demanding and particular in nature. In the past some smiths were not willing to do the work I required as these jobs can be labor intensive...However I am happy to report this is NEVER the case with Bobby!! The jobs I am talking about are things like installing a good recoil pad, adding a magazine tube weight for balance, installing Bradley style front and mid-beads for better sight picture or adding a deflector stud so that ejecting shells are directed away from other squad members. The last being very demanding to get it right, especially when using two different types of shells from two different manufactures!!
However Bobby makes sure that the final product is what you need/require with 100% function. Further all jobs are completed quickly, efficiently and at a fair price. As of this writing Bobby @ Bigfoot has done no less than four jobs for me and I am quite sure there will be more!!
As such I would NOT hesitate to deal with this Bobby @ Bigfoot again and neither should you!!

Brought two rifles to Bobby after randomly looking them up online. He did a great job on both of them! The seamless muzzle brake he does is awesome! He went the full nine yards on my bolt action and it is incredibly accurate , much better than before. I also had him go completely through my lever action that now actions properly. He is great to work with even was cool with bringing in my own part for the build. They were never annoyed with my phone calls and questions no doubt I'll be seeing him again especially with the quality and price point. Shops like Bigfoot need to be supported as we need them so badly in the sport! Thanks guys
