Dr. Ragai Nazmy should NOT be practicing medicine. Please read this entire review, it is worth it. Stay away from this doctor if you can help it. I have heard good things about the other physician in this office but unfortunately never had the pleasure of meeting with anyone except Dr. Nazmy.

Every appointment I have been do he has been very dismissive, confrontational, and eager to get me out of there as quickly as possible. I was willing to let this slide because unfortunately many family physicians are like this and he is closest to my home, but today was something I’ve never experienced before.

I have a diagnosed learning disability, and I needed him to sign a form to send to the government for proof of said disability for OSAP. Despite having my previous doctor fax all of my medical records to their office prior to my first appointment with him, and despite us discussing those medical records, him looking them over briefly in our first appointment in front of me after I had verbally confirmed that he received them, and additionally verbally discussing some medical history, today he exclaimed he did not have those records and as such refused to sign my form. He wanted to start talking about my symptoms (something I have previously mentioned in almost every appointment we have had, but I guess he doesn’t take proper appointment notes).

Understandably mistakes happen, maybe my records were never filed? So I proceeded to ask a simple question: “So you don’t know that I was prescribed ______ and diagnosed with ______?”. Clearly he took that personally as if I was questioning his capabilities (which realistically should be in question). He began to raise his voice and become angry, saying that I “can’t be telling me (Dr. Nazmy) that I can’t do my job!” and “Don’t tell me that I don’t know! I know!”. As calmly but sternly as I could I told him that is not what I stated or am implying, and that there is no need for him to raise his voice. This just made him double down and continue. I even gave him the names of the psychiatrists who had diagnosed me, and he all but threw his hands in the air asking me “what do you want me to do?”, showing me on his computer that the diagnostic records are not there, and aggressively asking me “So where is the diagnosis? Where is the diagnosis?”. I was so shocked I debated pulling my phone out to record this conversation, and I regret not doing so now (I probably would have attached it to this review), but instead I told him it that this appointment was over, he acted very unprofessionally, and I will not be coming back.

Never have I ever had a medical professional raise their voice and act aggressively towards me. I guess I can lower that finger now…

Please do yourselves a favour and stay away from this practice like the plague. I wish I had listened to some of the other reviews about this doctor and other anecdotal remarks from people I know who have been to this clinic.

This is my go-to pharmacy. They’re quick and really nice there! I trust them with all of my stuff and have never had to worry about anything, which other people with a lot of prescriptions would know, can be a huge make or break. I love this team!

Maddi at the reception desk at the Brantford Commons Walk In Clinic is always so pleasant each time that I come in. Maddi, as well as the other receptionists are very professional and very friendly. Keep up with the amazing and courteous service Maddi!!

I also wanted to mention that Dr. Kahlon is awesome, what a God sent. He carefully understood my issue amd was able to diagnos my UTI infection, thanks so much Dr. Kahlon, you are the best!

The Brantford Commons Medical Clinic is a well-managed practice. The receptionists are diligent and communicate clearly while demonstrating compassion for patients' needs. They take the time to get to know customers on a personal level, helping them feel as comfortable as possible during their medical visits. They book appointments in a timely manner always trying their best give customers an appointment time that both meets their needs and their busy schedule.

Dr. Kahlon is a highly attentive and thorough medical practitioner who ensures he listens to and addresses all medical concerns. His calm demeanor and kind bedside manner contribute to a more relaxed and less anxious experience for patients. His thorough explanations provide reassurance that patients are being heard and receiving knowledgeable medical care. He also demonstrates honesty when gathering additional information, which fosters trust in his practice and with his patients.

The pharmacy staff are efficient, professional, and kind also creating a relaxing atmosphere for those waiting for medical care and for prescriptions.

I would highly recommend Brantford Medical Commons Clinic and Pharmacy to anyone looking for a new medical practice.

Doctors here are always in a rush and does not take the time to understand their patients. Telling me you have a waiting room filled with patients so you can only adress one of my issues is ridiculous.

I am so grateful for finding this Doctors' Office!!
If it wasn't for the knowledgeable, concerned Dr Nazmy I would, literally, be in a wheelchair currently!! (I had Spinal surgery for cauda equina within 30 days of him sending me to the Hamilton General...Surgeon said "Your Doctor did a great job...he is very good!!")
He saved my quality of Life & I am eternally grateful 🙏
All 3 Doctors are fantastic, as I understand...I have dealt with 2 of them & they are alike in how they listen, take time to converse and treat their patients respectfully👌
This office also, believe it or not, offers daily walk-in hours...you may wait a bit as the booked appointments must be honoured!
However, it has been years since I have known a Doctors' Office that even offers this crucial service!?!
We all started believing "it is just how it is", when you or 1 of your children awake with a very sore throat only to be told, "well the Dr can see you in 2 weeks..." 😵‍💫

There is also a Pharmacy on-site!

The Office Staff are very polite & helpful as well...always trying their best to answer questions and be as accomodating as possible 🤙

Now that I have found this Gem of a Medical Office...I hope they stay open for many years to come🙏
