I walked in having just bought a rod somewhere else and I was looking for help with line, tackle and set ups for casting off shore in to saltwater. I've fished all my life in freshwater and have only ever fished from a boat on the ocean. The staff were immediately welcoming and told me to bring my rod in as they could respond it with their machine. Since I had it in the car, I went and grabbed it. I said I wasn't even sure if the line needed replaced, so he tested it and said it was good. Didn't try to sell me line I didn't need, which I really appreciated. He then proceeded to show me some of the best tackle for what we were going to do, picked out a few that gave us a variety. He then demonstrated for me how to tie a couple of knots to get us all set up.
Wow! I was in and out in less than a half hour all set up and ready to go! Very impressed!

Richard is absolutely amazing but he has been around since 1947 and Richard has worked there for 60 years as of 2024. His customer service is amazing and he’s absolutely one of the most knowledgable people in the industry if you’re looking to have your bow tuned you’re looking for arrows you’re looking to get a complete set up. This is the best place for you to go. He’s located in Duncan and people drive all the way from either end of the island. One stop shop.
