I purchased a product from their online store, and while the value and fulfillment time get a star each, the box I received the product in appeared to have been previously opened and damaged (parts sticking out from inside). In addition, they did not honour the "FREE SHIPPING OVER $100 & UNDER 30KG" deal for my order.

I shared photos and spoke with their customer service department who were not helpful at all. The representatives response was "you received a really good deal" and that the shipping deal doesn't apply to "oversized items". According to their website, oversized items that don't qualify for the free shipping have to be over 30kg (the product I ordered was 22kg).

In summary, they have a decent selection of products, good deals, however their customer service is lacking.

I worked at Busy Bee Tools for over a year, and my experience was disappointing. Hard work was rarely recognized, and communication from management was often dismissive. Despite taking on extra responsibilities and training new employees, I never received a raise, while others with less experience were paid more from the start.

My vacation was denied multiple times, and I was eventually let go just before a planned and fully paid trip. There seemed to be a clear gap in how employees were treated depending on their role, especially those not working in office positions.

I’m sharing this to inform others who may consider employment here. In my experience, the company did not show appreciation or fairness toward its employees.

Limited experience with Busy Bee prior to recent order. I experienced excellent communication and satisfaction with regard to an issue with one item in the order. The description of the item on web site indicated inclusion of a mechanical pencil with the Dasqua T-ruler. Noah, customer service agent, provided good communication and resolution of the deficient item by offering a complete T-ruler item refund. I believe the inclusion of the mechanical pencil with the T-ruler was an error in item description which Busy Bee has now rectified.

I just purchase a thickness sander on sale and I was really impressed with the help I received selecting the right machine for my needs. I've been dealing with Busy Bee for years and I have never been disappointed with any of their products that I've purchased.

I had bought a dust collector during Black Friday sale. Item was OOS, but would ship when stock was replenished. That's fine. I get a call about the order, and they say the system says Jan 2X for stock to come in. January pasts and nothing. I contact them and it's now end of February. Fine, I wait till beginning of March and still nothing. All this time, they've already charged my credit card for an item that hasn't shipped yet. I got tired of waiting, so I just cancelled the ordered. Customer support says they cancelled, wait 3-5 business days to get refund. I wait a week.. Nothing. I contact Customer support again, asking about refund.. It's been a week. In less than 30 minutes, I got the Order cancelled email and PayPal refund. So, they didn't even process the cancellation before, when they said they did. I won't be shopping with them anymore.

First visit to this Busy Bee Tools location conveniently located off the 407.
Larger than the Pickering location, very spacious and well organized. Great selection of clearance items consisting of industrial machinery at great prices. Staff is more than willing to help & also very knowledgeable & personable. Ample parking available.
