I paid $53 to $93 to have a small jacket cleaned, and what I got back was a complete disaster. Not only was the jacket not cleaned, but it was actually returned in a worse condition than when I sent it in.

The stitching was appalling — far from what you'd expect from a high-end brand like Canada Goose or any premium jacket. Only one elbow had normal wear and tear, yet both elbows were stitched in a completely unprofessional manner. It looks nothing like original craftsmanship and more like careless patchwork.

Even worse, the original fur trim on the hood — which I’ve never used — was returned in terrible shape. It genuinely seems like my original fur was swapped for a fake, and I wouldn't be surprised if that’s exactly what happened.

The way the jacket was packaged and returned to me was completely unacceptable. It showed zero care and total disrespect for customer property. When I tried to escalate the issue and complain to higher authorities, I received no response. The customer service is beyond disappointing — it’s outright disgusting.

I’ve never had such a horrible experience with a cleaning service or a jacket retailer in my life. Please, save your money and avoid this place. I regret trusting them with my jacket and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

I’m sharing my experience to make others aware of the reality behind Canada Goose’s so-called “lifetime warranty.”

I purchased the Lodge Jacket from the Chadstone store in Australia where the staff were helpful as they explained the lifetime warranty against defects and craftsmanship. Initially, the jacket felt like a high-quality product, and it provided good warmth over the winter months. However, as you can see from the attached pictures, the collar began fraying after just a few months of wear.

The return process was extremely disappointing. First, I had to send the jacket to Portugal for assessment. While Canada Goose provides DHL transportation, what followed was a frustrating ordeal. I received an email stating that the jacket had to be professionally cleaned—despite being nearly new at an additional cost of €44. This charge was mandatory; otherwise, the jacket would be returned to me. Despite my objections, Canada Goose refused to waive the fee.

After paying for the cleaning, I was then informed that the fraying collar was not considered a defect and that I would need to pay another €40 for repairs. At that point, I requested the jacket be returned instead.

This entire process makes the "lifetime warranty" feel misleading. Multiple professionals have assessed the collar and confirmed that poor-quality materials were used. For a jacket that costs $1,200 and lasted only five months before showing signs of wear, this is simply unacceptable. I strongly encourage others to reconsider purchasing from Canada Goose. Not only is the warranty process unreliable, but there are other brands offering superior quality products and far better customer service at this price point.

Like the downtown store, overall shopping experience is always positive even though you have to wait a little bit due to the availability of the brand ambassador. Never had issue buy/return/exchange but today the store assistant manager went above and beyond to make sure that I will have the vest with right color , size and quality, get it same day as it was sold out in the store, 5 stars 🌟 from me, Thanks Tim!

This Canadian store is located in a large shopping mall. The spacious space inside makes people feel very comfortable. The staff are warm and polite. When every customer comes in, they will greet you with a smile and be polite! Even if you don’t buy anything but just look at it, no one will look at you strangely. To be honest, many people like this brand, but the price is a little expensive. Every time the store is crowded, it must be a promotion!

Excellent Service! I have previously shopped at Canada Goose and always had pretty good service. But this weekend I had the pleasure of being assisted by Josh K, and I must say the experience was exceptional. From the moment he greeted me at the front of the store, his professionalism and friendly attitude stood out. He listened attentively to the type of gift I was looking for and he really went above and beyond as far as trying on jacket’s for me. His knowledge and willingness to help made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend seeking his assistance if you’re at the Canada Goose Yorkdale location. Thanks again Josh!

Really really really poor customer service. They are not willing to help me at all. Paid over 2000$ get 2 jackets and they treaded me like a stupid idiot, they didn’t want to help me out with the customer service, NEVER AGAIN!

had to exchange a jacket that was bought as a gift didn’t have the receipt but Marco and Genard helped me out to pull out a copy on their system. though the size is not available at the store., Genard did not hesitate to check with other stores and assured that they can rush deliver it to yorkdale., Marco called me back after a few hours letting me know that it’s ready for pick up., Sean another associate also consider helping me out with my purchase. Highly appreciate how efficient and accommodating the team has been for taking the time to resolve my request asap .. great work.
