I work for a kitchen manufacturing company in Northern Ontario, and we ordered product from Canmade. The reason for the poor review is because we stocked thousands and thousands of dollars worth of drawer slides that we purchased from Canmade. The drawers were called Samet Smart Box, and although they looked great and seemed to function well, we were always needing a part that was back-ordered or on a boat from Turkey...or the company was getting sued by BLUM for patenting issues and we had to change out all our parts for new ones...anyway after about two years we decided to move on. The real nightmare is that these Samet slides were a ticking time bomb and we are finding out now that over time, they tend not to close! So the soft close action becomes no close.

After having a chance to redeem themselves and possibly salvage a business relationship gone bad, Canmade offered us free shipping on our next order over $1000...and they also seem to have dropped Samet from their product offering. We're spending thousands replacing the crummy product they sold us because we actually take care of our customers, and for all the headache their products are putting us through we were offered the chance to spend $1000 more so we can save a few bucks on shipping? Thanks but no thanks.

If someone reads this who actually cares I would be more than willing to remove my review if you can correct the problem.

Update (October 2019)

Because of the damages you cost us years ago, we moved to a drawer supplier that sells better hardware. Replacing the product that we know has serious issues with more of the same doesn't make sense. Now if you would offer to pay for the cost to go to a customer's house and switch out all their drawer hardware with something better, that would work for us because that's exactly what we have to do every time a customer calls saying their Samet drawer isn't closing properly.

I had high hopes for Canmade given they were recommended to me, but my experience was less than positive. At first, the staff was friendly and helped me place a small order for a few specialty hinges. Fast forward several months later and several follow ups (from my end, which was frustrating), they kept giving me fulfillment timelines which came and went (without any communication) and eventually told me it was no longer available. They offered me a more expensive alternative which I agreed to on the basis that it fulfilled all of my requirements (opening angle, soft close, etc.). Fast forward another month and we finally got to installing them and realized that the hinges did not meet all of these requirements. We didn't bother going back (given our troubles getting them in the first place) and just purchased new replacement hinges elsewhere.

Trying to find some hinge dampers for my builder cabinets and Canmade came up after some google searches.
There are many good things that I can say about Canmade but the best part is their great customer service. Marcello is very responsive, knowledgeable and attentive. He helped me correct a mistake when I placed an order online and was able to confirm if the damper is the right model I would need.
He also offered a free sample for me to tryout before placing a bigger order. Not to mention their price is much better than anywhere I can find.
I would not hesitate recommending Canmade for any hardware purchases.

The folks at Canmade are terrific! I am a home hobbyist, so my orders are not that big, but the people at Canmade treat me like I'm buying hardware for an entire house. I also find their prices to be very very good.

Great customer experience. A hinge for my kitchen cupboard broke and Canmade responded to my email in a few hours and shipped the replacement part out to me the same day. Just received the new hinge and installed it without any fuss. Thanks for being so quick and answering my questions!

Great help when ordering, quick notification of payment and order confirmation, just waiting for order to ship now.
Update - product shipped quickly, received in a week i(ncluding a long weekend too)- just have to install the hinges now!
