Love going to Home Hardware. The staff is always helpful and efficient. This location was no exception. I was helped by a nice lady who was knowledgeable about lightbulbs. These were well priced too. Thank you!

On June 26 while driving from Calgary to Sicamous, a huge rock (or something) flew off a truck and hit our driver’s side window and smashed it out. It was raining. Our drive was loud and cold. I called the Home Hardware in Canmore at 5:45 and asked what time they closed. The man told me 6:00. We were 12 minutes away according to Google maps. I explained that we needed plastic for our window that had just been smashed out and I asked if they could stay open until we got there. He told me, “no they had to close at exactly 6:00.” We arrived at Home Hardware at 5:59 and it was locked. Not very friendly or helpful. I hope karma doesn’t take out his window on a highway in the rain.

Came in handy when I needed it. Prices are actually pretty good. They don't carry norske products like other home hardware locations, and that made me sad.

Good day Home Hardware Customer Service,

I am reaching out to express my frustration and disappointment regarding the handling of my Milwaukee Next Gen Fuel drill kit, which I purchased from your store to support my new business. Unfortunately, within a few months of use, the drill kit broke. I returned it to you for repairs, and was assured that it would be handled in a timely manner and that I would be contacted once it was ready. This drill is crucial to my business operations, so I was eager for a quick resolution.

After a week with no updates, I called your customer service line and was transferred to the store who handled my drill. The call was not answered, and the message I left was completely ignored. I called again after two weeks, only to learn that the drill had not left your store and that I would be responsible for arranging repairs myself. At this point, two weeks had passed without any action taken on your end, despite your earlier assurances.

In order to continue working, I was forced to purchase a Milwaukee Hole Hawg and, subsequently, a 12Ah Milwaukee battery from your store. These were additional, unplanned expenses that I incurred solely because my original drill was kept in your possession without any communication or progress on the repair.

I am extremely dissatisfied with how this matter has been handled and feel quite disrespected. I have lost valuable time, incurred significant expenses, and been inconvenienced due to what appears to be negligence on your part.

Please advise how you will address this situation, including any steps you will take to prevent similar issues in the future.

This was attempted to be solved with a $50 store credit. Never ever use these people.

I visited the paint department here and was pleaseantly surprised with the layout and great selection of both paint and sundrie items. Also custom color matching.

I have been to and fro from here and many other hardware and building supply stores lately and this store has by far the friendliest and most helpful staff. Everyone goes just that little step further to help you or make sure you get what you need. Really fortunate to have this place in Canmore.
