The new system of no waiting in line up and registering with phone is easy and much appreciated. Staff over the past few years has always been kind, helpful and efficient. I believe they have done much to increase service and reputation.

It is legitimately faster to get in your car and drive to the far side of Calgary, go to a registry there, and then drive back - that's how hilariously slow this place is. Don't bother going anytime after 2pm, they are so slow that with just a few people in the queue they will "shut down for the rest of the day".

My Drive to Banff Registry today was so worth it.

I didn't think the one employee they had on duty today is anyone I'd like to talk to.

After I logged after being instructed to do so in Canmore this morning, I was ninth in line.

I was getting texts an hour after leaving the place telling me I was 7th.

There are a lot of negative reviews. I am sure there are negative experiences. But after my family and I have been dealing with Canmore Registry for 12 years I want to share our positive experience. Yes there have been times when it was busy and we had to wait. Not really the employee's fault. But everyone was always friendly and helpful and tried to accommodate us whenever possible without bending the rules. It probably helped that we speak English and make sure that we have all the required documents.
