I just recently went for a very overdue eye exam and a new pair of glasses. When I picked up my new glasses I couldn't belive the difference my new glasses made to my overall vision. Carbonear optical are nothing short of amazing in there craftsmanship not to mention the most amazing customer service you will ever find bar none !! At first they were awesome to work with. It was my first time dealing with someone else after 40 years. Within a year when my frames fell apart and my coatings started to peal l realized l had made a mistake (they blamed it on wearing mask’s for covid). They replaced my broken frames, my pealing lenses however was half on me. There are other options in our area, I’d explore them, l tried and was disappointed.

Best service ever! I was fortunate enough to get an emergency appointment on a cancellation. Came in hours later got my exam, the doctor who did my eye exam was so kind and everyone was so gentle with my very fragile 'nearly in parts' glasses. Picked out a beautiful pair of glasses with the help of the ladies in the front, they knew what looked best for my face shape. I was told my new pair would be ready in 5-7 buissness days but I believe they knew the urgency of my situation and I got a call the following day for pick up! How amazing! Highly recommend this office for your eye exams and selection of designer and non designer glasses. 10/10

My wife had an appointment today with this so called professional and was treated terribly. First they offered no support in an insurance issue and basically told my wife she had to deal with it herself. Marie the owner said she went out of her way to call for the insurance and the rest was up to her. My wife called the insurance rep who in turned called Marie and verified coverage. My wife immediately went back to the office to only be told that her appointment was up and she would have to come back this week. Word to the wise, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Brought my 90 year old Mother here for new glasses. Treated us like we were family. They take all the proper health precautions. Very clean and tidy. Staff extremely well trained and helpful.
