I'm so glad there's a fine men's clothing store like Channers in the Waterloo region—especially one that carries Zegna clothing and shoes, which are rare to find locally.

Mike was exceptional. He truly has the eye of a stylist and offered honest, thoughtful advice that helped elevate my wardrobe. From luxury suits to refined accessories, the quality and tailoring of the pieces make them well worth the price tag.

One area for improvement would be their packaging. For a high-end store, I was surprised that no dust bags were provided for items like my belt or Zegna ties. That small touch would really enhance the premium experience.

Overall, Channers is a gem for men’s fashion in this area, and I’ll definitely be returning.

I have been shopping at Channer’s since they opened here in Waterloo back in 2008. Mark (the owner) and Mike (the GM and clothing consultant) are phenomenal! They are always very patient, and never pushy
 just overall very friendly and welcoming people. Over the years I’ve come to trust Mike’s opinion and guidance so much that I won’t buy a suit from anyone else.

We had a great experience at Channers.
We grew up in K-W but now live in Tennessee and every few years when we come visit, my husband purchases a few suits/shirts/shoes from this store. Everyone is patient and helpful. On site quick tailoring is amazing!

Amazing experience here yesterday! My boyfriend and I visited the store to get him a new shirt for New Years! Briten was our salesman and he was exceptional! We were in and out of the store in no time and received the best customer service!

Terrible customer service. I visisted the store in the fall, ready to purchase two pairs of Allen Edmonds. I was in the store for about 20 minutes trying on shoes and not once was I greeted by any one of the numerous staff. There is no excuse to stand around chatting to your coworkers when there are customers in the store. I decided against giving Channer's my business. I am grateful though that I was able to find my size and purchase the shoes online.

Best place in the area if you are looking for the best customer service, help and quality clothes.
Bill helped my husband so much selecting his wedding outfit. He gave him options, explaining the different styles and choices. He gave us space to discuss and try things on without pushing us to purchase anything at all.
He even gave my partner his size without even asking him what size was he.
He offered us to modify the clothes at no additional cost, so we could leave with the full clothes ready to go for the occasion.
Even though the prices were a little to high for us, the quality of this clothes are amazing, and no one can beat the service we received at this place.
Highly recommending this place to anyone looking for high end clothing.

Bullying, lying, incompetent, and unkind.

Both Mike Channers (owner, short, protruding stomach) and Bill (white hair, glasses) claimed that the tailor did a perfect job at mending a shirt (attached). My hope is that they were blatantly lying because if they truly deem this a perfect job, both Mike and Bill are incompetent.

They chose bullying a resolution strategy. Bill had his hand in my face as he aggressively argued there was not a problem with the tailoring. Mike’s strategy at establishing dominance in conversation was to wave his finger at me, signaling that I ought to approach him to discuss the matter. This is cartoonish and showcases a lack of civility.

Go up
