The lettuce in the salad was brown and limp, asked for potato salad - no potatoes in there! Just mush. Onion rings were under cooked. But the chicken was very good.
We have eaten here 3 times before and the food was good and fresh. Can easily tell when the head chef is not there

First time being there, overall it was a pretty nice experience, the food was good and my server was a sweetheart, 10/10 service from her, if you go there and she’s your server hopefully she puts a smile on your face like she did with me. Nice place to watch some hockey games, hangout with family, friends or think about the mistakes we’ve all made in life. Big thanks to the chefs as well.

Came in as couple time for a bite to eat and a beer. Staff are friendly and quick to bring out drinks and food when ready.

The meal was good... but a lack of service needs to be addressed.. walk into the restaurant entrance with no acknowledgment of staff to greet me in. So after reading the daily specials at the door, I sat myself down on the quiet side of the restaurant. I seem like a party atmosphere on the lounge side, I was not interested in that excitement at 1:10 in the afternoon, just a quiet place to eat. Now, 20 minutes later, still nobody knew I was seated and waiting to be greeted. Weird, I thought 🤔 not 1 but 3 surveillance cameras in the room and not been seen? Clever as I am, I called on my cell the restaurant to place an order..😉 asking for an ice tea and a menu🫢. With embarrassment, the waitress rushed over, finally realizing I was not served. The meal was prompt after I ordered. 2 observations.. I'm not sure if the waitress was the only one serving that day during lunch hour? Is so then management need to address a lack of staff at that time of day.. it would be hard to look after the lounge plus the other side of the restaurant by herself at that time of day.. especially with a table of some young rowdy fellow having a good time in the lounge. #2.. If there are 3 surveillance cameras on the to help staff watch the restaurant side, does anybody pay attention to it Or is the staff easily distracted with the entertainment in the lounge side 🤔 one side note.. the gentleman that was seated in the corner booth never got much attention either... I'm sure one day I'll come back, but please, the owners must address this for a better experience next time. I would have sat in a more noticeable spot, but there was a lack of clean and available tables to be noticed quicker. 🙄

I don't understand what the rave is about the food here, I didn't find it very good especially for what they charge for a 6oz new York striploin, BbQ mushroom to be exact, it was Diana's chicken and rib sauce in zag pattern across some poorly seasoned mushrooms and a steak that you swear was pulverized before it was cooked. The ceaser salad was possibly the best part of the meal. The gravy out of a bag..... For a place that does as much business as it does you'd think the chef would put some soul in his food..... As an experienced chef and a father of a large family I wouldn't say that this is worth your time.... The frozen cabbage rolls across the road at the gas station were better.

Well if you are in Esterhazy, working late on the potash mines thank God for chicken chef. They open late and while the food isn't the greatest where else are you going to eat?
I've had the salad, steak and chicken. It's alright.

I was VERY disappointed in my burger. Frozen burger patty, that was weirdly soft, and also the mushrooms were canned and cooked all to oblivion. The burger patty had a interesting taste to it my husband said it tasted like it may have been cooked on a dirty grill n I agree. I have been to another Chicken Chef, only 45 min away and that burger was delicious, homemade patty and sooo...much better. I don't understand I thought all chicken chefs should be the same n consistent for their menu items. My husband had a tossed salad that was loaded with an abundance of green onion. It was a poorly tossed salad. He called it a "onion salad" lol But on a small positive note, my son did get his extra lemon he asked for to go with his fish.
