A very nice little campground. Beside a railroad but doesn't seem to be a bother. Self check in for $25/night. Washrooms are clean, showers are free and warm. Grounds are very well kept. Has garbage disposal, recycling bin, group shelter, soccer field and Frisbee golf course. Very quiet, no traffic noise.

My daughter recently had a soccer tournament at Coalhurst Miners Memorial campground and it was overall positive. The location was easy to find with ample room to sit. The down side was the fields were not level so whomever's team was on the right side of the field had an advantage. Also, the parking was horrendous. It was a struggle to find a parking spot for our vehicle, and it caused appear to cause frustration for residents that lived on the road. However, apart from these issues, I must say that the campground had extremely well-maintained grounds and amenities. Overall, despite the uneven fields and parking challenges, our experience at Coalhurst Miners Memorial Campground was enjoyable and I would recommend it.

Good little campground for a quick road stop. Some sites too close to the tracks that trains wake you up but other than that nicely located by the parks and close to all necessary stores.

Such a gem of a campground for travellers! Sites are curbed, well spaced, tables are fixed and well marked with numbers. We don’t need services at site so this park fits our needs perfectly. Washrooms and showers are clean and well set-up. The availability of potable water by tap is appreciated and the dump station is well accessible as you leave the park. All for $25. Well done Coalhurst - thank you!!

Driving through on my way to Alaska, and found this nice little campground. It was clean, neat, and well-kept. Boarders some soccer fields. Only $25 (honor system), includes hot showers. Only objection was a foul odor, like cow manure or stagnant water, probably from adjoining property. If the wind shifts, then no problem.

Clean, well maintained, good price. Railway tracks and a plant are in close proximity so not very quiet.

My boyfriend i and I stayed here for 2 night at the end of summer. It was a small campsite with big grassy areas for tenting. The showers were great with lots of pressure, and didn’t have to pay for them! No fires aloud but it was ok we brought our small briquette bbq and didn’t spend much time there other than to sleep and eat. It was very well kept and clean. We might stay again next year if we go back that way. Fishing wasn’t really great for us down south si we may just plan something else this year.
