I have been a patron for many years! Now under new management, we ordered a lazy boy recliner which we are very pleased with. It did take slightly longer than expected to get in, but delivery and set up was seemless. The price point was well below retail so we feel like we have great value! We special ordered it to have left-hand controls.

Next was buying a new range. I really shopped around for this one! I was finally able to decide and in the end it needed to be ordered regardless of where I shopped. This store gave me the best price. Their polite staff at the store tipped me off when it was going on sale. A month later I ordered it and it came in as expected. Set up was simple and I am thrilled with my new stove! It is an LG 5 burner double oven with lockable front control knobs. I have adjusted very well to cooking on a glass top which is even safe for canning. The programmed pizza feature is used often with no preheating required. The baking is very even unless I over fill it because the air movement gets restricted (with 4 pizzas), but it still cooks up nice! The top oven even has an infared broiler which gives instant results!

Now onto the commercial Maytag laundry team: I managed to set everything up myself. My delivery fellas were very encouraging, thank you. They really wanted to help and told me what I needed to successfully hook everything up.

Selling points out of the box:

-I love the way it works the soapy water into the clothes as it fills. I would do this step manually when I had time back in the day. Lol

-I love the customization! Alerts... Tweaking any program and then there's a custom setting I know nothing about. I will quite probably be setting it up because of being on a farm and having pets!!

-The drive home in staff member, Mark, sharing how deep it is, is deeply valued. I really could imagine the challenge of peeling wet clothes off the side of the drum. --Actually doing it tho engages muscles one uses to reno-ooooh! Day 2 of reaching in the drum didn’t seem to bother me so it is just something to get used to. If needed I will use kitchen tongs or a single stepping stool if the stretch isn’t desired.

Finally, I want to mention the first load I did was a thin kingsize quilt. I couldn't have imagined it did not fill the drum of the washer!! I customized my cycle for bulky items and when it was time to dry I squished it into the dryer which does feel like the same size as my old one. At some point while I was working with my washer, the dryer started to signal. The panel read it was dry on the outside, but may need to be repositioned. Say what? I had custom set it to more dry because it is a quilt. Anyway I was able to easily take it out and put it back in wetter side out somehow. A little while later I got the same signal.... after a bit I went down to reposition and IT WAS DRY. I couldn't believe it except to witness it! I still had 45 min. On the clock of washing my second load (slower start from setting up the tech stuff). Wow speechless.

Bottom line is I am confident in the no bull honesty, Mark and his team deliver locally!! THANKS SO MUCH!

So much for supporting local businesses.
Over the last year or so I have spent over $5000 at this store. Never again.
First off, the customer service is horrible, and the owner even worse.
I had purchased at king size mattress and a complete set only to find out that the saleswoman had "forgot" to order the bed. So after waiting months for it to arrive, the dresser came damaged and then I had to wait almost 3 months longer for the bed to arrive. Great.
Then in May I purchased a small chest freezer. In August it died resulting in over $300 in lost food. I agreed to a replacement and the same saleswoman actually had the nerve to try to charge me another $35 delivery charge. I seriously live 5 minutes from the store. Funny.
About a month later the replacement also partially quit and resulted in another loss of about $50 in food. I should add that I did have the outlet checked and it is in normal working order. I still needed a freezer, so she offered a similar size different brand, for an extra $60. I told her where to stick it and then insisted on a full refund back to my original method of payment, then to which her incompetent coworker tells me that their point-of-sale machine doesn't do that. Right.
I was told to come back with all my original receipts, so I do and then am told that they will not refund me entirely as there was damaged caused by me, trying to save more food from being wasted by the freezer thawing and freezing things to the bottom. Okay.
After having a full-on yelling match in the store with the owner, I left with a cheque for the freezer, less the delivery charge.
Way to go Westlock Home Furnishers. You have lost another customer.

Needed a washing machine asap. Westlock Home Furnishers was the only one locally that had lots in stock for immediate pick up. They had the invoice ready when I arrived. The gentlemen in the warehouse were friendly and helpful. Great experience!

Not a good experience so far. The dryer came with out legs, took hrs before they had some for us. Washer is not working, so we're to haul it back in. 3 trips into town, still not up and running

Bought a new fridge at around 10 this morning and it was delivered and set by 11:30. Friendly sales person and delivery guys. Highly recommend.
