I stopped in on my way to catch the Newfoundland ferry, but I wish I had more time to look around as there were many treasures. I chatted with the owner, Robert, and he was really friendly and even offered to open up the store on my way back from my trip, but timing was against me. I Hope to get a chance to stop in again !

Our car breaking down in front of this establishment turned blessing in disguise as we were able to shop this incredible store with lots of gems and beautiful and unique antiques, and meet the owner Robert who was incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and an overall joy to talk with. Definitely stop by if you are in the area or driving through, you won’t regret it!

Cute little place to stop, the owner was very helpful and chatty not only about his collectables and antiques but also about the island. He was great for suggesting places to eat, and stay also has a supply of paper maps of the island Because the cell reception is spotty in some places.

Great stuff, local gems, quirky antiques. Best part...Robert, the owner. Has local information at his fingertips, knows where to send you for great meals, museums and galleries, festivals, just ask him.
