Room was VERY small, though tidy. I know it isn't, but it seems like an old sea can that has been compartmentalized. One wall was covered in corrugated tin which I guess is trendy but just made it seem more like a container to me. It felt a bit like a prison cell honestly. There are no staff on site, they email you the code to get in the door, unfortunately I had no signal so had to walk over to the visitor centre to get wifi so I could get the code which was pretty annoying after a 7 hour drive. There were dirty marks on the counter and when I tried to pick up a glass the rim was stuck to the counter too. There were some small jars with sugar or something in them but they were empty almost. It was dark with only a very small window which opened onto a gravel parking lot. I was happy to see there was a bathtub so at least I could have a nice relaxing bath, but on further inspection there were no faucets as it wasn't plumbed for a bath just for a shower! At least it was pet friendly so I could bring my dog in though he had to sleep on the floor. And it is right in the middle of town so handy for seeing everything. It was VERY expensive for what you get though.

The location is perfect and it is of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. No contact check in and out was seamless.
I highly recommend staying at the Lodge if you find yourself in Dawson!!!

The fact that it is employee owned is the cherry on top of a great stay.
We stayed twice it was so good.

Clean, cute and cozy. Welcome treats are a nice touch - coffee and biscuits a nice touch. Staff is available as easy as a text and very responsive. I was able to walk everywhere. Great location. The cafe although not attached is great and the spa ❤️

It may not be large but it was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Cozy and beautiful decor and well laid out with modern conveniences. Loved the little touches with the snacks and the coffee bar in room. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the online check in. Definitely recommend and will stay there again.

Dawson Lodge was a warm, clean, comfortable space located downtown and walkable to food, drinks, shopping, river walk and the Yukon Spa!

We spent 3 delightful days in Dawson City at Dawson Lodge. Probably one of the best places we have encountered since arriving to The Yukon. I give 5 stars for best sleeps at Dawson Lodge. Their rooms are quaint and decorated quite lovely. Fullly functioning bathroom, with awesome showers. The location of Dawson Lodge was ideal, we were surrounded by loads of things to walk to and see.
We were welcomed to visit Yukon Spa & Cafe. We had their homemade blueberry scones (which were so lovely and tasty), I enjoying it with a scrumptious Latte with Almond milk and my hubby enjoying a yummy Americano Coffee with warmed Oat milk. ?
The people at Dawson Lodge and The Yukon Spa & Cafe were so very friendly and attentive. We were concerned that we may not be able to come to the city due to road closures as a result of forrest fires. They kept in contact with us to let us know the roads were open.

I travel for work very frequently and stay in many many hotels, I have to say Dawson Lodge is the best one I ever stayed at. Lee’s professionalism and curiosity is exponential. Although I stayed one night he went out of his way to help me out and make sure I enjoyed my day.
1. When I landed I didn’t have a ride to the hotel, Lee went out of his way to have someone pick me up. He also arranged my air port drop off. Which I really appreciated.
2. I was in town for work and didn’t want to bring my luggage with me, he offered to store it at his other business.
3. I had about 5 hours to kill while I waited for my flight and Lee let me hang around his other business Yukon Spa. Have to say it is a must if you’re visiting. The service, atmosphere, vibe is great.

I genuinely appreciate all they did for me during my stay and will definitely recommend you check the lodge and spa out if your in town.
