I heard many good things about this doughnut place, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. I found the doughnuts to be pretty average—I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. The custard-filled doughnuts were underwhelming; the custard wasn’t very delectable, and the whipped cream tasted like basic, commercial-grade stuff. For a local bakery, I expected at least some of the ingredients to be made in-house. Overall, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

A fellow colleague introduced me to Debrodniks Donuts when he had us try one. That was enough for me to come by personally myself to try them again! I visited them in the early afternoon on Saturday, August 5, 2023 & missed the majority of their selections, but they still had a few to buy. The Lady who assisted us was kind enough to give us two additional donuts with our purchase, which was great. These donuts are priced a lot higher than the standard ones you get from Tim Horton's, but they're also FAR BETTER (taste/portion), plus they keep longer! It's a must to come early to avoid missing all their selections.🍩

We really enjoyed Debrodniks Donuts! The donuts were light and airy, and the array of flavors was impressive. My personal favorite was the chocolate walnut crueller, it took me back to the good old days when you could find a perfect donut at a coffee shop.

The one or two donuts I tried were excellent. You can definitely taste the freshness and quality. Definitely priced on the premium side but great as a treat. Lots of choices with donuts in the display case and on racks behind the counter. Even tho Google says their hours are 9-3, it is posted on their door that it is 9 till they run out. I would definitely go in the morning.

Fresh and fluffy donuts! The lady behind the counter was so sweet and helpful. They have a good variety of flavors to choose from. Filled donuts are actually filled a good ammount to. Decent prices

Edit: such a shame that this place is actually never open and I’ve tried 3 times since to buy more donuts - the hours are insanely limited and even when Google says they are open, I visited at 11.40am on a Wednesday and they were all closed up! I won’t be trying again sadly.

Today was our first time trying and now this is now our new favourite donut place! The donuts were light, fresh and every flavour was delicious; my relative said it was the best apple cinnamon fritter they've ever tasted! I loved the original glazed and the strawberry rhubarb was excellent. Friendly service, generous sizes and I thought the price was more than reasonable given the quality and especially compared to Donut Monster.

Honestly how can a donut shop not be open in the morning. Google says open and it’s closed.

Hey thanks for responding. My comment was not to tear down a small business but to express genuine frustration as a customer. Supporting small business is important to me, which is why I have tried multiple times despite the inconvenience.

I was surprised that my feedback was received with defensiveness, rather than acknowledgement of a valid concern. I understand that small business face challenges, I see it first hand. However as a customer it is not unreasonable to expect clear and consistent communication about hours of operation. I should not have to call to check if a store is open.

I hope this can be seen as an opportunity to improve. I look forward to experiencing your donuts one day soon at which point, I’ll update my review.

Is this place ever even open? I managed to catch them open once in the donuts were fantastic but I've been by this place at least 10 times. Their hours are not posted. The times that Google says they are open, they are not and I am currently sitting outside of the shop while it is closed when it is supposed to be open.
