The customer service here is outstanding. We've gone here before for the odd thing we needed for our pets and always get our chickens from here. The people there are so nice. We needed a muzzle asap and the lady that worked there was such a big help and so kind, something you don't find these days. When I told my husband who helped me at the store he knew right away because he said she's always so helpful and kind everytime he's been there. We've decided that even though it's a bit out of the way we would rather support them than any other shop that might be closer. Thank you Dixons.

Dixons Feed is not JUST a wonderful place that always has what you need stocked but it's part of the West Lorne community. After checking every place in town to print 7 pages of school work, my daughter needed homework printed. Nicki at Dixons, was the only one that not only printed it for me but she tried many different times to help. All with a smile! Although it wasn't per related their comunity support was outstanding. We are so greatful and thankful to have Dixons as a staple of community support

I've had very positive experiences with them. Every time I come in they're polite, helpful and friendly. They either have what I need or are great at referring me to the next closest feed stores that will. I really appreciate that!

Well stocked local feed store in West Lorne. Went to buy bulk grass seed because the seed I purchased 3 yrs ago was excellent. Many other products other then seed or feed for sale.
Staff very helpful and pleasant. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Always have what I need for my horse. Feed, sprays and halters. Plus some cute stuff as well. Staff is amazing. Carry out to truck.

I love supporting small local businesses. A big reason I decided to move to the countryside, to part of a small community and know my neighbours.

I've had 2 experiences with Dixon's and both times they have been disorganized. I'm actually disappointed that I even have to write this review.

Last year, I called to order ready to lay hens. I was told they were sold out for that month, but then I received a random call weeks later that my hens were ready for pick up.

This year, I called to order 6 hens and was told the order was full and next one wasn't until Sept. I asked for them to call me if anyone were to cancel. I never heard back. Weeks later... I received a call this morning at 7 that my 6 hens were arriving later today. I'm not an a$$ and going to leave the store with 6 hens.

While paying, 2 employees were talking about possibly being stuck with too many hens. I told them to call me if they did end up with too many extras, as well I posted in a local fb group that the store MAY have extra hens today. I didn't know it would be such grief though.

This is my biggest problem, besides the disorganization. The store has my number, instead of calling me to say the post was causing too many inquires, I was publicly shamed on FB by a customer of theirs who was in the store today saying the employees were ranting to them about the headaches they were getting from the calls.

So for that, 1 star for the very poor customer service.

Wonderful staff and great animal food and supplies. I got five happy healthy chicks there last summer and have been buying my food there ever since. I live right near a different feed store, but I happily drive half an hour away to shop at Dixon's.
