Grabbed a Pitmaster-level unit with this unique paint job. Also snagged a cover, sear stack trays and the hurricane coal starter as well as the Pitmaster bundle with extra rack, diffuser and top reflective plate. The powder coat paint should be durable.

Made the trek to the Drum-Bo home shop to pickup in person, met Matt and he gave a terrific walkthrough and has been quite good in terms of tips and product support via social media.

The Drum-Bo heats up quite quickly, temp is managed by the side intakes. More open = more air for coal to burn/smoulder hotter. Have cooked some Ribs and Chicken so far and both have turned out great. Used a few apple-wood chunks with the lump charcoal for flavour.

The natural convection within the drum leads to fairly quick cooking and with the diffuser, the heat is more balanced across the cooking racks. Racks which are by the way quite spacious. 24 chicken thighs with room for 30 at least.

Been very happy with my Drum-Bo so far and am looking forward to a full summer of BBQ delights.

I bought my DrumBo a year ago in may, and it was my first experience with charcoal grilling - I was a bit nervous. Within a couple weeks of ownership I had the use of the drum dialed right in and it became as effortless to use as a pellet grill. These grills are very user friendly with easily controllable temperatures, and ease of re-use of your charcoal. A year into owning my drum now it still looks and functions as brand new and I have decided to officially move away from pellet grills for good! On top of the top notch craftsmanship, the company stands behind their product and have really created a great and supportive brand and community behind their products. If you are thinking about getting a drum, get a DrumBo - anyone that has or has used one will tell you the same.

I've had my Drumbo for a few weeks and I'm loving it. Great build quality and fairly simple operation. Their customer service was unreal. Matt and Alex were both super friendly and informative and helped me pick the smoker that was best for me, and Alex gave me a crash course when I picked it up. I'd strongly recommend Drumbo!

I ordered my Drumbo after seeing a few big names using them on the competition circuit. Matt and Alex were very helpful in guiding me with the correct configuration and custom paint work. The drums are built beautifully and the quality of craftsmanship really shows. I would strongly recommend getting a Drumbo if you're thinking about getting a drum style smoker, these things are built to last, they operate very efficiently, perfect results every time and they look the business! Thank you Matt and Alex, I can't wait to add another one to the collection.

Talk about taking pride in your work. I bought a drum bud and man does this thing rock! It's easy to handle, easy to control the heat, its light enough to take on camping trips or family get togethers, it's built to last and looks amazing 👏🏻. The attention to detail is amazing. Does it have room for multiple racks? Yup. Is it easy to clean? You betcha. Can I hang multiple chickens and smoke them? You bet your bottom. Drumbo has truly out down themselves! 10/10 would recommend to everyone! Not to mention their spices are out of this world!

The Drumbo barrel smoker I bought is easy to use and a quality built smoker. Matt’s an awesome guy and gave me tips on how to use the Drumbo - worked exactly as he said. No hot spots, delicious flavor, fantastic bark on my brisket (here’s to hot, fast yet still juicy and tender!).

The Drumbo smoker has been increadible! It is the perfect blend of set and forget and 100% live fire. The owners Matt and Alex have been awesome to deal with and it sure is cool to have a manual with a hand written serial number. Let's you know how much hand craft actually goes into these smokers. They are also gorgeous with the paint job that comes with them. The smokers are well worth their price, can't say enough good about it.
