Eagle Lake Narrows Country Store is a charming spot to paddle to if you’re staying on Eagle Lake. Just a 2km paddle south of where I was renting a cottage, it was an easy paddle and for sure worth the effort.

The freshly baked Apple Fritters
are very tasty & the store offers
Kawartha Dairy ice cream by
the scoop or large containers.

There’s also a gas bar out front and the store has all the things you might need for the cottage. Clothing, games, toys, household items, canned food, candy, chips and the
list goes on?

It’s fun to paddle or take your boat to get a treat or find something you forgot to bring with you to the cottage. City prices+ but the location is sweet if you’re on the lake.

Really cool store. Has all of your essentials if you want to come by to get some things for camp. They sell a wide variety of ice cream and portions are really big. I probably should have gotten a kiddie scoop.

We stopped by for a cup of early morning coffee and could not resist the smell of the freshly baked Apple Fritters!! What a delicious experience. The family that runs this store are so warm and friendly. Always have a smile to welcome you. Highly recommended

What a great stay! Fred and Jill were super welcoming from the moment we arrived. Couldn't have asked for a better spot to enjoy a few days away from home, and couldn't have asked for better hospitality.
The store has everything you could possibly need, which came in handy a few times. Big fan of the fresh apple fritters in the morning.

It's very obvious that Fred, Jill, and family have a ton of pride in their business and community. All the best guys, thanks for having us!

A perfect Spot to stop for any camping needs! They have everything you need for camping. They have bike/kayak rentals from ice cream to all day breakfast sadwich! Their Fries is Amazing, delicious Gravy!! Below it is a Public beach with A play ground, clean washroom & a fishing spot near the bridge!

I had a wonderful experience renting the tin boat with a 9.9 hp 4 stroke ELECTRIC START!? motor. The motor was super dependable. All equipment was in excellent shape and I was super careful to follow the buoys and avoid hitting any rocks.

The kawathas ice cream was definitely worth the stop! About 15-20 flavours...I had the key lime pie ice cream and my husband had the death by chocolate...both soo good! Got worms for fishing here. Great little store, friendly owner! They sell firewood, make pizza and apple fritters on site...

Me and my friends had a great time here Snowmobiling. Fred and his wife, as well as Nigel were so welcoming and warm. Very friendly people running their family business.

We were newbies to Snowmobiles. They took us on our tour with proper gear, training, guidance and safety. The trails they took us on were scenic. You can operate the Snowmobile on your own and add a passenger too. We had a fun outing! Definitely recommend to visit them for sure. I would visit them again for more adventures. Few pictures I took along the way 🙂
