They are always willing to help you with your coffee needs. They get stuff in that you can't get anywhere else. (The Torani brand is there. They have the sugar one , sugar-free, and zero sugar). Good coffee and the tools to help clean your coffee maker. Ask questions. The staff will be happy to help. 🫖☕️🍵

Amazing experience every time I've been in. Good prices, good beans and I got all my questions answered about some machines I was curious about.

Great overall selection of machines, beans, mugs, K Cups and accessories.

Our office has been loving the coffee since I took over the ordering and buying from ECS!

Went to the shop yesterday afternoon knowing exactly what I was looking for - a Chemex. I was helped by a man named Pat if I'm remembering correctly. While I did a fair amount of research on the brewer, and understood some of the challenges / differences with it compared to some other pour-over brewers, he explained those challenges and what to look out for, and suggested some coffee that he felt would work well with a pour-over style coffee, and what I could expect from the coffees. From a customer service perspective, I couldn't have been more impressed.

Ended up getting the Firebat El Salvador La Divina Gesha, and I really like it! Thanks for the great experience Pat, and keep up the good work! 🙂

Leaving a 5 star BUT the reason I am actually reviewing is to *request more Sumatra whole bean selections. The Takengon and Ketambe Sumatra Brewology disappeared - bawled my eyes out for days. I had to swing to Starbucks whole bean Sumatra for now.
( not a big fan of buying the giant 2 lb bag of Reunion Sumatra at ECS )
I religiously buy the Barrie House pods of Dark Mystery and Sumatra for quick workday coffee but would LOVE to see them order up these in whole bean ( hint hint) in their Barrie House shipments. ( Barrie House will not ship to the common purchaser in Canada- I tried )
I was told the Sumatra Indonesian beans are too expensive to import to Ontario. I am MORE than willing to pay the extra price.
Please please please bring in more Sumatra whole bean selections.

Went to the store the other day as I wanted to get some advice before purchasing my first espresso machine. The sales staff was amazing. She showed me on a demo machine how to make both an espresso and cappuccino. Nice to have a coffee with a lesson! It was one of the few times recently that going into a brick and mortar type store was a far better experience than simply buying online. I will certainly shop with ECS again.

Inconsistent pricing in sale items. Toranni syrups on sale due to labeling issue according to the staff, but stickers range from 10.99 to 12.99 across bottles on the shelf. Did not provide a detailed receipt.

Went there to look for espresso machine but did not expect to learn so much. Christine went into detail and gave a full demo on the machine that I was interested in. I was taught the importance of dialing in and what type of coffee beans to select. Really appreciate all the information as I'm clueless about the science behind espresso making.
