I have been doing business with Kelly Percival at Exit since 2015. I have bought and sold through Kelly multiple times, it has always been a great experience. Have not had a good interaction with the agency. They represented the seller's in a deal that fell through. But putting that aside the communication to our realtor was very poor. Constant hounding for answers to questions about the property, the return of our deposit(took almost 3 weeks) and at the time of this post(3 weeks after a mutual release was signed by us) we still have yet to recieve a signed copy from their side of the release or the agreed upon compensation for the release despite numerous requests.

Let's balance out the reviews of Exit Realty with a little Reality, OK? So far we have a "Local Guide" who gives the place 4 stars because she walks past it every day (thanks for that brilliant insight), a 5 star review from a secretary(?) who gushes that her boss is "amazing" (thanks for that obsequious toadying) and Kenn's 5 star wordless plug (but who trusts a guy who uses two n's to spell Ken?).

Reality of Realtor: My own experience with Wade Mitchell is kinda tenuous... I've tried to talk to him twice about two different properties. Emailed him, called and left him my number, told him I was very interested...and got no response at all! Never!

I realize he's a very important and busy guy, but too self-important and busy golfing to have his secretary (Sally P?) give one of his 18 agents my number and have them give me a call? Too busy to share a hot lead with his sales team? Anyone that busy...is too busy to take on new listings. In short, I wouldn't sell or buy a house with him, and I wouldn't work for him.

I'll let Wade speak in his own words from his website:

"Wade Mitchell (Owner/Broker of Record) and his dedicated sales team have one goal; to assist you in the purchase or sale of your home with as much ease and piece of mind as possible!"

Neither Wade, nor "Sally P", nor his "dedicated sales team" of 18 agents (their pictures surround this quote on his website contact page) have ever noticed that this sentence should read PEACE of mind--not "piece" of mind!! Did anybody here finish grade 12?

So let me give you a piece of my mind, Wade (yes, that's the correct usage in this sentence)...

I'll give you and your team 2 stars, one for each time you ignored my request for more information about a property I wanted to buy!!

Is this really the kind of team you want to work with?

Team was not able to answer questions regarding the property they represented.
Made critical error in agreement of sale and purchase which required intervention from our lawyer.
Provided incorrect advice in regards to HST on the transaction.
