I’ve been going to Five Fathoms for a while now, and I can’t recommend it enough. Nick is an absolute pro super talented, professional, and just a genuinely solid guy. He runs the shop himself, and it shows in the quality and care that goes into every detail, from the vibe of the space to the precision of the work.

Whether you're getting your first tattoo or adding to a growing collection, Nick makes the whole experience comfortable and easy. The shop is always clean, welcoming, and relaxed. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it really comes through in the finished piece.

Nick and the team were absolutely amazing! So friendly and welcoming and they're all such great artists, was truly a memorable experience! My only regret was not getting tattooed myself while I was there...

My mom and I had tried to get a matching tattoo that was delicate, not that big and one we had created with AI help. We went to a few places but never felt good about any of them. One tattoo artist said it couldn't be done, it won't age well. We almost gave up. Then we tried Five Fathoms and we got Dan! I've had a few other tattoos in my past but it was never a great experience and it hurt like hell! But Dan makes you want to keep going back! We got our matching matching tattoos! Even tho we said it was our last 4 months later we were back again lol. He is so gentle, and seems to just get what we want even tho I go on and on to make sure. I love this last one! Its so whimsical and he didn't even put color in! The way he shaded it looks like there is a light pink undertone. I would recommend Dan to anyone that is a little unsure, or someone who maybe is a bit scared, he is so gentle and so kind and love hearing his stories from the past!🤣 Thank you Dan for being so amazing!

Best shop in town by far.
Got my first tattoo here and have continued going back ever since.
They are the sweetest most respectful crew and offer and welcoming space for everybody to feel comfortable and accepted.
Nick is one of the most wholesome dudes I've ever met and an absolute killer artist, all around rad guy. Getting to connect with him over the last few years has been a blessing, love that guy.
The rest of the crew are just as rad! Very personable and fun to be around when getting tatted, makes you not want to leave just because of the great conversations you can have with each of the artists.
Also wanna shoutout KC their receptionist for being an absolute homie!
Can't recommend Five Fathoms enough, everyone should go get tats from them.

There are only a handful of people I’d let tattoo my body and a majority of them work here. As a chef, I appreciate the incredibly high level of cleanliness, professionalism, organization, quality and consistency they embody as a team. It makes five fathoms a legacy tattoo shop in every sense of the word. A must visit.

This was the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. Bar-none. And I have 6 tattoos. I emailed them with my tattoo idea and significance and they fit me in that same day. Dan was such a warm and inviting presence and he was so easy to talk to. When I opened up about what the tattoo meant to me, he was so empathetic and wonderful. He managed to also match the emotion of the piece into the actual tattoo itself and it means everything to me. The lady at the front desk was incredible as well and I just felt so comfortable there. From start to finish, this experience was just phenomenal, and I cannot recommend them enough. Any time I want a tattoo, I’m going to wait until I’m in town again so I can go back!
