Friday, Aug 2 5pm. Was in line to purchase groceries. Cashier walked away no explanation. Another customer came along asked where is cashier. An employee walked by. The customer asked Is there someone at this checkout. The women yelled repeatedly I’m clocked out Don’t speak to me. You have no right to talk to me when I’m clocked out. The customer said I’m just asking. The women walked away , a couple seconds later she came back with a man following her. The customer said I was just trying to find out if the cashier is coming back. The employee yelled You have no right to talk to me You are rude. The fellow behind said You were rude I saw the whole thing. Even though he was not there during the occurrence.
As a customer we have no way of knowing if an employee is off shift. It would have taken two seconds to give a polite answer.
I think this womans total lack of customer service skills was appalling.
Ps the cashier also could have said Ill be right back but she said nothing.
Totally unpleasant experience.
These two could use a few classes in customer service

If I could give negative 10 that's what you would get. Planned on do a large purchase today however very poor service. I was struggling getting a cart the cart person looked at me and just smiled didn't offer any assistance, I complained at the checkout and got nothing but excuses. Blaming all young people of having no customer service. Well let me tell you you as a business need to train your staff on what customer service is and expected each time they work. The cashier also stated that they are not trained shame on you as a company. So needless to say you only got 40 dollars out of me today a few things that were needed the rest of my groceries will be bought else were.

Simply the best grocery store for affordable and good quality fruits and vegetables.

Also very competitive in the dairy and meat departments. I bought this fruit below just days ago.. it's March , in Canada, so obvious to say food basics goes gets the best available . Highly recommend if you live in Sault Ste Marie Ontario ?

Came her so many time but today was the worst experience. Customer service is the worst. Rather than helping the customer to pack the groceries giving attitude and telling to do fast. Giving the statement that they are separate order she put all the item in one. Such a rude behaviour hope the manager see this and teach some politeness and good behaviour.

I bought some items and the cashier gave me my change less of 5cad when I called her attention to it. It took a min for her to give me the actual balance. My friend had a bad experience at the same store 2weeks ago. This needs to be looked into as it seems targeted towards a particular set of customer.

Its really what it say. "Low for high". You get almost everything here. Fresh and good...even the staff is very helpful

Trunk Rd... is our favorite location, always seems to be better prices.
Store is clean, well layed out, and lots of in store specials.

Staff is amazing, helpful, informative, and polite.

Just DON'T like the pay a deposit to get a cart to shop.
Totally a bummer.
Hire someone to take care of the carts, and sanitize them...
