I came here at the lowest I had ever been. I was completely lost and ready to go to war against the demons inside of me. The staff at foothills were ready to join my army. Everybody from the front office to the cooks in the kitchen and the councillors hold a very special place in my heart. I was able to get into an amazing treatment center, however the rock solid foundation provided to me by foothills is second to none.

I have been to the detox centre a few times now and everytime I am there I am treated with the utmost respect, compassion and empathy from every staff member at that facility. The last time I was there I was feeling hopeless and wasn't sure about life anymore but the staff helped me so much to feel better and to help get me to another province for treatment. They got me clothes, my i.d back, feed us 3 good meals daily including snacks but most importantly amazing support from the office staff and the program coordinators. They all do their best and work with dignity. Being respectful and showing some gratitude for what they do goes along way. Also I actually feel safe being at the foothills centre detox because the staff will not tolerate belligerent behavior and will deal with it accordingly in a respectable and fair manner. I appreciate the work they do and many of my friends in recovery do too!! 🙂

I was nervous going in but the team at F.C made it a very comfortable stay. The AA and 12 step meetings held in the evenings opened my eyes tremendously. The food was beyond words. I ate like a king and the coffee ain't bad at all. Thanks Foothills Center for showing me a better way. The advice I got their will forever stick with me. A perfect warm up for my stay at Lander treatment center. 👌

Horrible phone mannerisms, Carly is absolutely ignorant and lacks basic professionalism. If the staff are not capable of empathy towards even family members trying to aid a loved one during detoxing perhaps they should not be employed in a detox facility where there are bound to be sick clients who need patience and trained kind staff. They are willing to kick clients out at the drop of a hat it doesn’t matter if they have no where to go. It’s sad these are the types of facilities and staff our tax money funds.

Do not waste your time here. James and Michelle are horrible two-faced con artists who will rob you of your belongings and talk down to you like you're a piece of trash. I had not even entered the facility and James answered the door acting like a see you next Tuesday. I am over a year sober with no relapses, no thanks to this pathetic excuse for a detox. Go elsewhere.

I came to foothills detox center completely broken, lost and afraid.
Today I am 4 months clean! They helped me out of complete insanity, transitioned me into an amazing treatment center, fed me like a king and treated me with compassion and kindness.
I will forever be grateful.

Glenda was horrible and showed No compassion and was worried about covid even though my brother was in an accident and had a collapsed lung with blood clots... Glenda made it very clear my brother was not allowed there as she took it upon herself that my brother had covid systems. Shame on AHS for hiring someone with no compassion. If my brother dies Glenda and AHS will be accountable according to my family lawyer
