Moved into our new home over New Year. Was delighted to have a supposedly good grocery store nearby. What a disappointment!
Dirty, crowded, not enough cashiers. Spent 30 minutes waiting for my turn. This is supposed to be a high quality foods at discount prices? Guess what? The Loblaws on Niagara is usually cheaper and has better quality fresh produce. Not returning.

Staff don't smile or acknowledge you, shelves and ends empty. Only 2 cash open with lineups, 1 being express then another opens without calling anyone over from lineup and takes
someone walking by. The only good experience was my cashier, very friendly. Will never shop there again

I just want to shout out to the girl at the first cashier (express) on 30th Dec eve. She was so helpful and kind to advise me that I was entitled for a free item along with my purchase.

Our go-to spot for groceries. Staff are usually nice and respectful, fair amount of options, and items are usually in stock. The security guard follows you around and make us uncomfortable. Not a fan of the security guard and his tactics.

Talked to the owner about all of this and he made no amends just a weak apology followed by an attemp to blame me for swearing at him. Wore my back pack because I walk to the store they wouldn't let me in. I have been shopping there twice a week with the same backpack then they don't let me in. After that, the security guard who told me not to wear my backpack starts staring at me everytime I'm at the store and following me around.. I spend 500 dollars a month there and I get treated like a criminal. I'm never going back to this location. Manager said that's ok like he doesn't even care. Then he says it's not that he doesn't care but there is nothing he can do about it. So if you want to be harassed shop at freshco.

Staff is friendly, but I can see why people have been complaining about the security in this store. I was in to grab two simple items and had come in with an already opened bottle of Gatorade. He didn't come up to me until I was already cashing out and after I had politely nodded at him as I was we passed each other. I stated that I had come in with it. He then asked me for a receipt, which of course I am not going to carry around with me everywhere I go, especially when it was bought a few days ago at a Dollar Store. I asked him if he wanted to feel the temperature of the bottle, he declined. It wasn't until I told him to go check the cameras that he left me alone. These people they hire need to be trained better as security guards, or find a better security company.

Never have enough cashiers open… lines are always really long even during non busy hours. Produce can be a hit or miss in terms of quality and freshness.
