REPLY To Garage 54/ update july 25th
- so you’re still pretending cab corners are rusted even if actual pictures of each corners are displayed below? Do you see a hole somewhere? Because I don’t.
-Just so you know, I’ve had my sticker done 2 weeks later IN BRANTFORD without “fixing” anything you told me. Just the rear light actually. So? How do you explain that?
-About the ghost brake line leak. I still drive the truck daily and tow heavy, oil brake bowl shows same qqty. I guess your mechanic is messed up and saw a leak on a fully oil ‘anti rust’ coated frame.
-the MTOs? well of course you must like the fact that safety is required bylaw cz without it, shops like yours would go out of business, let’s face it, nobody likes MTOs non sense but you do. Keep going on fighting for the wrong side, you pretend you care about customer “safety”, reality is you’re encouraging the government to put great old trucks out of the road so we have to buy brand new all electronic non sense trucks, 80k$ for a pickup truck? NEVER.
-I find it pretty out touch to use sarcasm in your reply as if I was interested bursting my CVOR meeting an MTO officer. You re joking right.! UNPROFESSIONAL, keep your sarcasm at home.
Again guys, whoever wants a safety PASSED, go somewhere else, check on google, there is not a lot of them doing it anymore, you ll find the good one in Brantford. I don’t wanna name it here cz it’s a GOOD address and don’t want *garage 54* to call MTO hotline and rat on them.

Yes, you can see right. Yellow sticker was done somewhere else 3 months prior my visit at Garage 54, but they found that my whole truck is a Failure.
2000 F550 flat bed 108000km on it.
Basically, I suggest to all solo prop local companies to avoid this place because they are Brutally strict with everything on your truck. Drive On system in place now, they take it way too seriously as if My truck was unsafe to drive.
In the list, they spotted rust on cab corners where other shop said OK, they flagged a Trans leak where the shop said OK, it s a 25y o truck of course there is a drop every 2 weeks, but also brake line leak?!? When the other shop has done all 4brakes including brake line. I check, the whole thing in non sense.
I brought an other truck to their attention a year ago, same type with a rusty cab, ended up paying 600$ cz of big tires.
I had to wait 2 weeks for an ‘appointment’, dropped off the truck on time and found out a day later about that, no warning calls. Tk god I didn’t wait!
Seriously, avoid it if your truck isn’t a stupid brand new 2025 all electronic p/u truck or you re gonna be stuck.
I grabbed the key at the desk, upset ‘no talking’ and when I got home, I saw the bills, an other 306$ for that non sense! If I receive a warning bill by mail, Ill make sure to pay them with coins ON SITE

Took my car to have the corrosion free under coating applied at Garage 54 this week. It was my first time there and they were very polite, professional and friendly. They did a very thorough job and cleaned up any over spray. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

This is an upstanding shop run by great, honest, hard working people. Owner Tim, service scheduler Jeff, and mechanic Jay went absolutely above and beyond for my old Toyota in every way. I had a complicated to do list and Jeff spent a lot of extra time finding part options and making sure I could do it how I wanted, and Tim was very supportive of my plans and explained certain technical things to me when necessary. Jay did extra research on some stuff I was curious about and did great work. I can't say enough good things.
Very thorough, very professional, and I had a long list but still, reasonably priced work.
They have earned my trust and respect!

Having had to find a garage that could do this work for me was a challenge. I searched on google and found Garage 54. I tried them for the first time and can say that their professionallism is top notch. They did the repair on time and at the price they gave me when I first called them. I will definitely use them again in the future as well as recommending them to friends.

My old jeep has seen alot of miles and these guys still seem to amaze with the service. Personally, they've patched everything from brake lines to transmission gears and never failed me.

Just for figures, I drive a 1988 Jeep wrangler with more than 200 thousand Km of wear and tear worn into its bearings, this shop has been around since 4 years before it was made!! They know how to take care of your dearly loved oldies and beautiful new models too!

Year after year they still have my business and my trust!

Had my 2021 Ford Transit 250 serviced at Garage54 recently and overall it was a good experience. Even though I live in Hamilton I would rather drive to Brantford and deal with the people I trust. My truck is a commercial truck which I use every day for my delivery business , so it is important to me to deal with a garage I can trust and relay on. The entire staff including the owner Tim is easy to talk to, they would explain everything in details, so that way you know exactly what to expect. I don't work for them and this review is strictly based on my own experience with this garage.
