We went to George Richards in St. John's today. John was our customer service representative and was fantastic! He made my son and his partner feel super comfortable, and we got two suits of clothes for an upcoming wedding. John is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We went there today thinking it would take forever, but we were all done, setup for alterations and everything in less than an hour. It was a wonderful experience, so much better than we expected! Thank you John!!

My first time shopping at George Richards and I was met by a pleasant staff who was very friendly and knowledgeable, and made my experience comfortable and easy while helping me pick out and try on a beautiful suit. I highly recommend George Richards for 'big and tall' men like myself.

My husband and I went there last weekend and the service we received was amazing! Sadly there wasn’t anything suitable for him but Lisa quickly found us a solution! She certainly knows her product and truly went above and beyond for us!

In January purchased two pair of jeans. In two week both fell apart. One split down the leg, the other had the zipper fall apart. I went in and asked for an exchange. They did not have my size and promised to order them in. After months of waiting and several messages left, I went in for a refund. They refused to provide it. Citing that it was past the 30 day refund policy. Evan though they were the reason for that. Not the first time disappointed by the quality of their clothes and their level of customer service. Imagine a policy being more important than keeping a long time customer, happy. Well a customer I will no longer be. Strongly suggest that buyer beware.

Went to this store for the first time last week, staff was great. Very helpful and friendly. The store had a great selection of clothing with a awesome selection of sizing. Definitely will be shopping here again.

I had a upcoming event that required some more "Professional" looking attire. I had already been to one store earlier in the day but was treated so poorly that I left that location rather frustrated. While at that other location, however, I was told to check in at George Richards for a wider variety that may have been more suited to my size. Upon entering the store, I was greeted very warmly by a large man who I quickly noticed had many tattoo's running up his arms. At first, it was quite unnerving simply because of the negative associations that most of us carry when it comes to tattoo work. However, I took some time to explain to the man that I had an event, and was looking for some specific things that had been recommended to me by a friend. Some of the items he and I were able to come across, however certain items were not in stock at the time. Ready to be told that not everything I wanted was in store, I was willing to just purchase the few items I had already picked out and call it a day. But the associate helping me asked me to just look around for a moment while he ran around the store picking out things. 10 minutes of browsing later, the associate returned with 2 arms full of shirts and pants, all similar or slightly different from what I had described earlier to him. What was meant to be a quick in and out shopping trip suddenly became a 40 minute experience where the young man had me try on various items and different outfit combinations that I normally would not have been able to put together myself. I got to learn all about the tattoos he carried on his arms, how he had previously worked in a tattoo studio before coming to George Richards and I got the feeling he was genuinely interested in my stories and the things I had to offer to the conversation. There was a young woman working as well who also seemed very friendly and approachable and the two seemed to make a great pair. There was two things I had learned that day. 1. Tattoos DO NOT define a person. I know I have been guilty of passing judgement on to those whom I've seen with tattoos without even knowing them. The gentleman who helped me this day was so warm, friendly and personable that it's really given me a new perspective on the tattoo community as a whole. And 2. ALL my future business is going to be with George Richards simply based on the incredible customer service I had recieved from both employees. I will be recommending this location to all my friends and family for a very long time.

Great customer service, and quality selection. The only drawback, like every other store catering to big and tall, is finding outerwear that is not a shade of black or grey. Safety when walking is important.
