Parking can be a little tight here at Golden Fresh during rush hour, but it is generally okay. I've only popped by to get plantains and some other products not sold in everyday stores, and I've never been displeased.

I would not recommend this place. We had just been rudely handled by a cashier after saying that we would be paying using 2 separate cards for a huge transaction. The cashier was blatantly showing us her anger and frustration for this which was no fault of ours if their payment method can not handle split payment transaction. She even explicitly said that she was angry at us. And when I went to customer service as I was absolutely disgusted with the treatment, they just told me that they would deal with her later. Such a horrible experience for someone who would decently pay.

03/2025 Crappy grocery store to buy from as they are more concerned trying to catch people stealing than being friendly or helpful.

I know retail theft is a huge problem, but they are ridiculous and flipped out and accused me of theft for returning to the store after just leaving because I forgot an item on my grocery list. They forced me to approach the cashier that had checked me out and then began to yell at her, asking why she hadn't given me a receipt. She had, I just tossed it when I left. They then told me to leave my PURSE with their staff next time. No thanks. I will go across the street now.

Cannot recommend them. Comes off paranoid and greedy. They are desperate to look in people's bags and are very rude about, too. You know the owner does not care to do anything about it, lest they lose $1 worth of goods. 25 cent charge to use debit under $10, and a bag of milk priced at $8, so really, they are the ones stealing from customers.

Had a very bad experience today with a cashier. I don't understand why split transactions are not allowed when other grocery stores can do it. The lady was very rude because she has to do the transactions all over again. It's not that we're not paying, we just wanted a split payment. We asked her if she's angry and she raised her voice and said yes. Is she getting paid per customer that's why she avoids rework? I believe everybody is paid by rhe hour. I hope they all get trained with Retail Customer Service 101 because the service sucks.

Today is Labour Day 2024, The price is 9.99$ for 2 lobster 👍The lady has short hair work in the morning shift-she is very very nice (food already cooked department)

Asian supermarket with all the usual groceries, fruits, seafood, meat and other staples. Geared towards the Asian community in the area, but also has everyday products. Nothing wrong. Lots of products and can be a bit cluttered.

I love shopping here. Produce is always fresh and shelves are always stocked no matter what time I go. I find the produce lasts a long time before going bad compared to other stores in the area. The store is always clean.

Supermarket is okay for an Asian Supermarket. Prices are good, but the hot table. The food quality is what you expect for $9.99 combo. Overall good value but the quality is not good. My soup had a fly in it.
