Really cute bakery with awesome donuts... Be aware... They have some donuts that are huge! Like comically big. As an adult if you get one it will make you look like a 2 year old holding a regular size donut.

We asked about the best donuts and pastries within an hour of Lloydminster. Overwhelming responses were Golden Loaf Bakery in Elk Point, Ab. Took a drive and it was certainly worth it. Beaver Tails!!! Apple Fritters, lots of assorted donuts. The bakery makes your mouth water. We returned last week, just as pleased. Except, no beaver tails, sob. We will return again, a nice scenic drive from Lloyd. Owner is like her wares, friendly and warm.

Adorable little shop. Softest fluffiest bread I have ever eaten. The staff was super kind and helpful. If you're looking for a sweet treat, I strongly recommend this bakery.

Stopped in looking for a last minute cake to celebrate a birthday. Understandably they could not accomodate our request due to the timeframe. Left with two dozen donuts (should have got more). Those donuts were delicious. Would recommend to anyone passing or staying in Elk Point.

My son and I stopped here for some treats and he slipped as we were stepping out the door. The owners were apologetic (it’s winter so honestly it’s no one’s fault!) and they told my son to pick a new doughnut because he was sad his got squished when he fell. They also threw in a couple doughnut holes too which was very sweet.
I ordered a couple pies for my birthday from here as well and they are honestly some of the best pies I’ve ever had.
Delicious treats, lovely people, we will always make the drive to stop in here 🙂

Super friendly and inviting and patient with us as we chose our 12 donuts. We got sourdough, white, 100% whole wheat loafs of bread. Great prices and excellent quality! Will be going to get our bread and treats from there again soon! Highly recommend! Can't wait to try other treats like the fudge brownie and their cinnamon buns!

Best homemade bakery/donut shop local to us. These donuts are absolutely delicious (and everything else they make!). The owner wakes up every morning at 2am to have these good made for the public (talk about dedication!!). We love to stop by here when we are out camping in the area and ocassinally will make the 45 minute drive because it's absolutely worth it!
