We just picked up our third Goldpaw Reg’d Golden! Tammy is the only breeder we consider for our bundles of joy. Her dogs are of sound body and mind. What beautiful temperament! The puppies are extremely well socialized when they go to their forever homes, they are confident and ready to meet the world with tails wagging. Tammy is an amazing support and always available to answer questions and offer insightful suggestions. Her wealth of experience with Golden’s and her love of the breed is clear from the moment you speak with her about owning one of her dogs.

We recently received a puppy from Goldpaw and couldn’t be happier with our decision. We have had two other Golden Retrievers who we adored (from other breeders) but the experience we’ve had working with Tammy has been unmatched. Tammy takes the time to get to know you to assess if you’re a good fit for one of her precious puppies. Tammy kept in touch throughout the waiting process and provided a very detailed information package for the day you take your puppy home. I truly feel that if at any time in the future you have a question, she’ll be there to answer it. The support doesn’t stop because you’ve picked up your puppy. She truly cares about all of her dogs. Definitely a very pleasant experience and you’re getting a beautiful dog with a wonderful temperament. Quality is definitely a word that can be used to describe Goldpaw. Our first Goldpaw Golden Retriever joined our family in 2016, and we have continued to welcome them into our home, and hearts, since then.

Adding a Golden Retriever to a family is a responsibility, and commitment, that should never be taken lightly; researching a breeder should always be top priority. After looking beyond the obvious physical beauty of a Goldpaw Golden Retriever, I quickly learned that Goldpaw Golden Retrievers check off all the boxes as being an ethical, and reputable, breeding program.

The owners of Goldpaw Golden Retrievers are fully involved in their breeding program, and Tammy and Paul lovingly raise their Golden Retriever’s in their home. Tammy actively shows her dogs (and beautifully grooms them, too!), and the dogs in their breeding program all have their health clearances. Their website is up to date, which allows a potential puppy purchaser to see, and learn about, the dogs that have formed the Goldpaw Golden Retriever breeding program. Tammy is responsive to emails and social media inquiries, and she clearly communicates client expectations from the homes where she will be placing her puppies. Additionally, Tammy addresses all questions and concerns from the owners of where the puppy will be placed.

Tammy & Paul carefully select the homes where their puppies are placed; this ensures that the match is based on lifestyle, temperament, and home dynamics - not just the physical preferences of the Golden Retriever (color, shape, size, etc.) Tammy is always supportive of the homes where she places her puppies; she is quick to assist new owners with all questions and concerns (new puppy owners have many!), and she never makes her clients feel like they are on their own after the puppy leaves their care.

I have raised Goldpaw Golden Retrievers in my home with my children when they were very young, and also while I cared for my elderly father. The temperament of a Goldpaw Golden Retriever is trustworthy, predictable, and loving.

I can’t imagine my life without a golden retriever in it. As I sit here writing this review with my 11 week old Goldpaw puppy contently chewing his toy beside me, I also know that a Goldpaw Golden Retriever will always be a part of my family, too. I always smile when someone makes the comment that my dogs “must be a Goldpaw”, or when I do the same to another Goldpaw owner. Goldpaw Golden Retrievers certainly are a “type”, which has been established through many years of hard-work and dedication to their breeding program. The “Goldpaw type” of companionship, joy, and love that we have received from our Goldpaw Golden Retriever’s will last us a lifetime, and we are forever grateful.

We started the search and boy, did we search! After looking at all the breeders, Goldpaw’s Golden Retrievers stood out for their beauty. Exquisite. They were simply gorgeous. We could not forget about them and then, when we spoke to Tammy, we knew we had found the best! The passion, the dedication, and the pure love for her dogs were all so evident in speaking with her. Plus she is amazing to deal with …kind, prompt, and a wealth of knowledge. Tammy is constantly looking for the best lines to breed in order to produce sound temperament, health, and that certain gorgeous look. And look at all those awards! Her dogs really are part of the family and are so well taken care of. Once again, Goldpaw’s stood out from all the others. We feel extremely blessed to have our own little Goldpaw treasure! As soon as we heard about Goldpaw, we knew we would be getting in touch to get our first puppy.

Tammy was very kind from the get go and always answered our MANY questions that we had from the start of the process, to puppy pick-up day, and even after a couple of weeks the puppy was home. We feel grateful knowing the newest member of our family comes from a reputable, knowledgable, and passionate breeder.

We are almost 3 weeks in with our female Golden and love her to bits!! We would recommend Goldpaw to anyone who is looking to add a furry family member, and are so excited for all of the other families who will be able to experience the joyful, exciting and positive journey that we did!
