This place is beautiful. The water is amazing. It’s kinda “tea colored” but, beautiful for catching walleye and/or yellow perch, even pike. The camp is quiet and surrounded by trees. We rented one of the camps boats-which you don’t “have” to do-you can bring your own. They were very good about cleaning it each day and fresh minnows and ice for your next fishing outing. The employees here are all very nice. They always greet you-and they are always busy. They work their tale off and it shows. Thank you, GOOSE Bay Reaort!

I’ve stayed at fishing resorts all over Canada & the world. Andrea & her team are awesome. Cabins & boats are great. Cleanest fish house ever. I am a tough grader, & quick to point out areas for improvement but found none here, (well, the fish nets need tangle free mesh) but If you want to be taken care for a Canadian fishing experience, go here & have a blast.

Wonderfull fishing camp. The cabins are very roomy and comfortable. Waking up to magnificent views and fishing Lac Seul for Walleye is a once in a lifetime experience. The staff makes sure nothing gets in the way of fishing.

Had a great time! Fishing was good but down about half from 2 yrs ago. Cabins were comfortable and essential for escaping the bugs at night. Have frig, stove, fans, bathroom with shower, and hot water.

Spent a week in July here with friends. Excellent walleye fishing! We had great weather and a beautiful place to stay. Host was warm and welcoming and the cabin crew/grounds keepers were friendly and worked hard to keep the place looking good. I marveled at some of the flower beds and asked for some seeds come fall, and yesterday a nice size bag of her poppy seeds arrived!! Thank you Andrea I can't wait to see them bloom here! Hope to be back next year to thank you in person!! Tracey

Two friends and I stayed at Goose Bay the last week in September 2017. One of my friends had stayed here many times before and he enthusiastically recommended it for our fishing trip.
We rented a boat from the owner and left the marina at 10:30AM with fishing gear and a picnic lunch. At 1:00, we started thinking about heading back to the resort but the boat's motor wouldn't start. We paddled over to an island and tried to attract the attention of other anglers. We collected wood for a signal fire, which we lit from 4:30-6PM. We kept thinking the owner would come looking for us.
We ended up spending the night huddled on the bottom of the boat and were rescued the next morning by two moose hunters. We felt that the resort was negligent in giving us a boat with a faulty engine AND for not coming to look for us.
We will never stay there again.

Andrea has always treated us well, even have stopped by in the off years to say hi. Would go to the outpost on Nungesser. One year fished Lac Seul waiting for Nungesser to ice out.
