Really enjoyed visiting this store! Upbeat atmosphere and excellent selection.

We bought a bone in prime rib, a ribeye steak, 4 prawn skewers, 2 lobster tails and some pork chops — Quality of the meat is very good!

Unfortunate experience today at Grillers Meats in Salmon Arm. First time at this butcher shop, paid $75 for two AAA RIB EYE steaks (price not out of line). Gal behind counter presented a beautiful steak, the cut & marbling was lovely, I asked for two.
When I unpacked the steaks at home, I was disappointed to find the second steak was vastly different from the first steak shown to me at the store. The second steak (see below) has one side 1/2” thick the other side 1” (hardly ideal to BBQ evenly). I might expect such variation in a supermarket but not a specialty butcher shop.

Note to self and others, ask to see EACH cut prior to packaging, do not rely on staff to select.

A little bummed about the Neptune chicken I bought.
3 extremely small breasts, heavily wrapped in FAT impersonating bacon for 27 bucks?
I won’t be doing that again.
Over all the beef is good but honestly, I can’t justify spending that much there any longer.
I feel like I got ripped off.
Nice people but
I don’t see the value any longer.
I want to shop local but they don’t make it easy

I could have made that chicken for less than 15 bucks and the bacon would have actually had meat in it.
Oh well. I do love the beef however.

Great butcher shop in Beautiful Salmon Arm, B.C. . Highest quality meats in town. Prices are on the higher end. Yet, you get what you pay for. They also have affordable freezer packs available. Definitely a must for the meat aficionados đŸ˜‹đŸ„©đŸ„“đŸ—đŸ–

I just tried the bacon I won at the meat draw at the local Legion and wow! I can honestly say that this is the best bacon I have ever had in my life! From the smell when cooking it, to the perfect thickness I was impressed! But the taste was amazing, truly delicious! I will be definitely buying this bacon from Grillers next shopping trip!
