Highland Farms has been a consistently disappointing shopping experience. With low customer traffic, it’s common to find expired products on the shelves, and unfortunately, even reporting it doesn’t help—management tends to overlook it and sometimes even places items back on display. Fresh produce, like cilantro and dill, is often not fresh and costs nearly double what you’d pay elsewhere.

While it’s convenient for quick stops when time is tight, there are much better options nearby, like Yummy Market, Longo’s, FreshCo, and No Frills, which all have fresher items, better prices, and higher turnover. It’s clear this store is poorly managed, which really affects the quality of the experience.

That said, the location is handy, and the cashiers here are friendly and efficient, a definite bright spot. Unfortunately, until management improves, I’d recommend choosing other grocery stores in the area for better quality and freshness.

I love going here. The quality of fruit and fresh deli is amazing. I also like their meat selection. I wish the prices were a little better/affordable, but overall, it is in a convenient location.

Great selection of imported products. I always come for Panettone and the variety is amazing. The produce is fresh and the meat is great, good cuts and quality. This location seems fairly new, well organized, clean and with washrooms. The staff is courteous and very friendly, specially the chef in the pastry section. The way you go in and out of the supermarket is a bit weird, most grocery stores allow you to use any door for entry and exit.

The most luxurious grocery store with the worst cashier & customer service. People who work at this store are so unsatisfied with their job that they inflict that on you; consequently, totally ruin the experience shopping here. It’s a very luxury store with the best products; nevertheless, cashiers ruin the shopping experience.

I came in a few weeks ago looking to purchase flowers as a gift but was incredibly disappointed in the service we received. I brought the flowers to the check-out (there was no one in the flower section to assist) and asked the clerk before purchasing if there was anyone that could help wipe down the dripping stems and wrap the bottom of the bouquet so they do not continue to drip, to which she told me yes and that customer service would be able to assist after purchase. When we brought the flowers to the customer service desk and asked what we had asked previously, the older blonde lady gave us a blank stare and said "you know the flowers are already wrapped, right?" as if I wasn't holding them in my hand and could not already see the wrapping. I clarified and said the flowers were still dripping and I can't bring them into someone's home while they are still dripping, she said she could offer us some paper towel. Clarifying AGAIN, I had asked if there was not any additional clear plastic wrap that could just be tied to the bottom so they wouldn't drip. She came around the counter and brought us to the floral area to show us what was available, explaining that they do not have much and gestured to the additional wrapping they did have. When I asked at least for her to take off the flower food packeted from the outside (which was tapped to the outside wrapper that was holding the flowers together) she looked at us, held her arm out in the direction of the area and said "you're more than welcome to help yourself to anything you can find back there" and began to walk away. We ended up returning the flowers and going across the street to Yummy Market where the attendants were extremely helpful and was able to provide me with a beautifully wrapped bouquet. I'm beyond appalled at the service we received here from a customer service representative none the less. If someone does not want to do their job or at least be courteous when explaining limitations they shouldn't be working there.

Nice store. Clean. Prices keep getting higher and higher compared to other stores nearby. You would be shocked at most items compared to other stores. Sales are always the same. You have to wait and wait for service at the meat and deli counter. Take a few minutes and go to Freshco or Yummys. Management needs to re evaluate this location. You can tell employee's are not happy working there.

pretty good, but over all expensive. A lot of parking and not a lot of other customers so you dont drain like you would shopping at costco. you can go to cashier fast. stocks were full and clean.
