Came in to buy a toilet, found one i liked and could afford. Said they had it in stock. Paid for it and went around back to pick it up. They didn't actually have it in stock. Next toilet wasn't available either, and they wouldn't give me the display since I already paid for it. Got a refund and went elsewhere to get what I needed.

Great selection, great customer service, really easy to pick up things from the yard.. just drove in there and the workers put it in my trunk and I drove away. I would go to this location again.

The staff is really friendly. Had problems when ordering items to the store. I got a message I could pick it up, when I arrive they missed a step and I had to wait for the manager to finish an interview. Was there for 20+min.

Had problems with flooring that I bought (about 1000 square feet), was able to return it without any problems and got my money back.

They have great selection of everything. Would like a better selection of pex connections.

Just went in to buy some mouse traps June 18th, 2023 at about 3:15pm. Waited at the register with no cashier in sight. Another man lined up behind us. An older male cashier showed up and said to the man behind us I'll help you on the other side. He never acknowledged us at all. He then said I'll help you to a couple that lined up behind us just as another younger cashier came. We waited for the younger cashier to log in to the register and then we were finally allowed to pay. It was the most unbelievably rude and strange experience I've ever had at a retail store!

Oops I made a mistake. I didn’t clearly explain to the hipster at the paint counter that I wanted a clear stain to bring out the cedar siding of my new shed. When I opened the can up I realized my mistake because the contents were like a paint instead of a stain. When I went to correct my error
I doubled my mistake by not realizing that the paint I purchased was a final sale. No returns. So I bought the stain that I wanted and went home and explained that they wouldn’t return it.

My husband was annoyed because we finished a massive renovation of our home and we made a concerted effort to purchase local. ( 300 thousand Reno )We have been in home hardware and know most of the staff without looking at their name tag.

My husband returned the 150 dollars worth of stain that I had just purchased. And he told me
That they wanted
To get a manager to return the stain that I had just tried to return unsuccessfully. But that opportunity was long gone for him as he felt that they should have made it right the first time. My husband then annoyed me by telling me that he place the 2
Cans of stain that was paint like that was a final sale on the floor next to the counter
And told them it wasn’t about the money it was about customer service. And go ahead and sell it again. Just be sure to explain that it’s a final sale. And more importantly when you ask for advice and the paint guy gives you the wrong stuff… maybe make it right the first time.

Side note he will never go to home hardware again. He is just that stubborn. But he does love to tell stories. And he will tell this one

Whatever you do, don't try calling this store. The AI attendant is what you get and nothing else. Nobody picks up on any department extension. Leave a message and never get a return call.
Website says "call store for price and availability". Just find another store that actually answers the phone and save yourself a bunch of frustration.

Terrible customer service from the cashier. Building a house in Osoyoos so shopping there at least once a week. Wanted to exchange two unopened door handles for different colour but lost the bill for one and was refused. I won't shop there again.

Great service, super friendly and willing to help. Will go here again for sure!!
But Not very impressed that these guys don't back the products that they sell. Even if they are broken before you buy them they will not give you a discount on it.
