Bought push broom from Nepean store. Crapy design. The handle won't stay with broom. Bought for business. Submitted the original receipt to our accounts. Rona won't accept scanned receipt with the payment card used for the purchase presented. Rona doesn't offer email receipts.
Left the broom in their dust bin.
I won't come again.

I would recommend this Rona store 100% based on my experience.

I have never been to the location and never personally met with either staff member I have dealt with.

I called the store for some assistance with an online order I had made after talking to my local store and getting a negative response and no assistance.
My local store is in another province as am I. After talking to a co worker I was advised that this store is a great place to deal with.

When I called the store a associate called Ryan answered the phone and took the time to listen to the details of my issue and then explained he wasn’t in a position to make the decision but would take it further for me.

True to his word and in a short time I had my problem solved with the assistance of Andy the assistant store manager.
Both of them treated me with respect and as a valued Rona customer although I was from out of province and the time taken was for no gain to them.

Great job guys and I hope I have the pleasure of dealing with you in the future.

Was looking to make a purchase for an online only deal, tried using a $500 gift card and was told I couldn’t do that online. Called in and was told that if I went to a Corporate location that they could take care of the payment. Called corporate location and they told me to buy online and then they’d do a refund and rebill in store so I could use the gift card. So we show up to do that after making the online purchase and are told it isn’t possible

I got the name of the people I talked to on the phone specifically so they wouldn’t be wasting my time and travel for this exact reason!
Terrible customer service. They don’t know what they’re doing.

I arrived at the designated curbside pickup spot and confirmed my arrival through the link provided in the email. After waiting for 30 minutes with no response, I called the store. The person who answered said, “I'll let them know you're here.” I asked if the email confirmation didn’t notify anyone, and she casually replied, “Yeah, the system is stupid.”

Eventually, someone came out and handed me an invoice, instructing me to drive back to the lumber yard. I did as told and handed the invoice to a staff member there. They asked me to drive around and wait, which I did for another 20 minutes—again, with no further communication.

Finally, I approached a staff member in a yellow jacket and asked for help. She took my invoice, went inside, and then came back saying, “We’ll get the item for you.” I asked, “Now?”—because until I spoke up, no one seemed aware I was waiting.

This experience was extremely frustrating and disorganized. If I hadn’t kept asking around, I doubt I would have received my order at all. The curbside pickup process clearly lacks proper communication and coordination, and your staff's attitude toward the system was unprofessional.
