First time at this inn. Looks nice but you hear the train clearly and regularly. Rooms have paper thin walls, my window was unlocked, at ground level, and no extra anything (tissue, kleenex etc.). Good for a quick night stay if you don't need sleep.

Pros: Nice room, comfy bed, okay pillows, free cold breakfast, nice older lady housekeeper - she always smiles, some front desk people are friendly too. Pub downstairs serves semi decent food.

Cons: Right next to the highway - it can get too loud, can sometimes feel the building vibrate when a big truck drives by.

Train! Every morning I wake up from the train whistle. At least 3-4x at night and once in the morning before 7.

Horrible coffee.

Slowest WiFi I've experienced since the dial up days.

Upon check in, the toilet was not cleaned at all. Not very sanitary.

Room was clean and neat. the front desk was friendly. We ended up having to stay in Vandehoof after an emergency during our travel through and Homestead inn and suites had vacancy
They're worth the cost in case you're looking for something affordable in this area

The front desk assistant on February 7th 2025 has a lot of attitude towards guests. Very inappropriate.

The room was clean. We got two beds and both were comfortable. The TV was working. The washroom was a decent size and clean as well. It just that there was no hair dryer. They offer free continental breakfast from 6am to 11am. The parking was big too. The motel is near a grocery, gas station and fast food.

Went to the restaurant. It's probably the best restaurant hamburger I have had in a very long time. My wife had the chicken quesadia , excellent!!!
Lovely young lady waitress.
If you travel to Vanderhoof, this is a must stop.

The room itself was great - comfy beds, bright, clean, had a minifridge and microwave and everything worked great. Plenty of parking and conveniently close to grocery stores. However, most of the mornings we were there the coffee at the continental breakfast station was empty, and most of the time there was no front desk staff present.
