The absolute best sourdough in the whole province (maybe even country). Cinnamon rolls and their cheesecakes were to die for. The staff was super friendly, and the owners came over and greeted me and my family. Would 100% recommend for anyone in the area to visit. Little slice of heaven in vernon.

Delicious! The best croissant I’ve had in a long time, (chocolate hazelnut pictured below) and the best fresh bread and pastry smell as soon as you step in the door. Heaven.

This bakery is a gem! The smells and coziness of the shoppe is amazing. I have been twice since I have been visiting the Vernon area. Highly recommend the wheat sourdough bread, bagels, muffins and decadent brownies. I honestly enjoyed everything I tasted and thank goodness, I don’t live close to the bakery because I think I would need an intervention on my baked good addiction. 😂

I purchased sourdough bread from here and I love it. Just tried some sourdough from another well known bakery and there is no comparison. The Bread Shoppes sourdough has soooo much flavor and texture compared to the other sourdough. I cannot eat their other products but they all look delicious

A wee gem of a bakery in the heart of downtown Vernon with a lovely assortments of bread and cakes. The interior decor was tasteful and modern with well thought out pieces. I wanted to try every baked good upon entry. The place smelled delicious with fresh bread and hints of cinnamon. I purchased a cheese roll, bread pudding and a load of the cinnamon bread. All were exquisite from savory to sweet. The cinnamon raisin bread made delightful french toast!!! I was hoping to get a loaf of sour dough, I arrive late afternoon on a Saturday and they were all sold out. Highly recommend stopping in and spoiling yourself with a tasty treat!

It was my first time shopping here. It is right next to the Thai restaurant.

The counter faces the door so the cashier immediately greets you.

I bought a fresh cinammon roll for $5 after taxes. It's a big roll, but not enormous.

The roll tasted really good when I got home. It was fresh and sticky.

Five dollars may seem steep for a single cinammon roll, but if you have a few extra dollars when walking through downtown Vernon this summer, this place is definitely worth a stop.

Excellent little bakery that stands up to the amazing reviews it has already gotten. There is a reason there are no low reviews. The whole wheat sour dough loaf & carrot cake were delicious!

Omg the most amazing bakery. It is an absolute must go place if you are in Vernon. Staff and owners are so friendly and helpful. The baked goods are to die for. You just have to go.
