I had an amazing experience at illfixit! I recently needed to replace the back of my phone and get a new battery, and they were incredibly helpful. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, explaining all my options clearly. The service was fast, and the quality of the repair is top-notch – my phone looks and works like new again! I really appreciated their honesty and amazing pricing. I highly recommend this crew to anyone needing phone repairs!

I have always had great service from these guys. I especially love the free replacement on tempered glass screens.
Today, I witnessed some great customer service from these guys fellow behind the counter. He returned a repaired phone to a gentleman and then rang up the charge. The man said that he had paid already, in advance, when he dropped off the phone. The clerk said (more than once) that, except for diagnostic services, they typically don’t take advance payment. The man was insistent. The clerk said that the man can take the phone, but if he could please return with the receipt (which the man said he had, but not on him), they could clear this up, and further apologized in advance if they had already taken payment.
The client then suggested that he would return with the receipt, almost like it was his suggestion. Quite frankly, he was a bit rude, ending the interaction by leaving and ordering his wife to leave, as well, despite her advising him that she was accessing their bank account on her phone to verify the payment.
Overall, this unfortunate incident was handled by the clerk with grace, respect, patience, courtesy and professionalism. 5 stars for that, even if the client may not think so.

I took my phone to this repair shop after accidental water exposure. I was initially quoted $54.56 for a full repair, with a promised turnaround of 24 hours. However, after waiting past the deadline without any update, I received a call—over 26 hours later—informing me that my screen needed replacement. At this point, I was told I had to pay an additional $160 on top of the original amount, despite no prior service being completed.

The lack of transparency and misleading pricing were extremely frustrating. Had I been informed upfront that my screen was the issue, I could have simply paid for the replacement instead of being charged for an unnecessary initial service. Additionally, communication was poor, as there was no proactive outreach when my repair exceeded the promised timeframe.

I value honesty and clear communication from service providers, and unfortunately, that was lacking in this experience. I cannot recommend this repair shop unless they improve their pricing transparency and customer service.

I've had nothing but great experiences at this store. They replaced a phone screen on an old phone of mine that worked great for years after. Most recently, I called and ordered a part for my phone. When I got there to drop off the device, the tech realized he was able to fix the issue rather quickly without needing the part I ordered. He fully refunded my deposit and did not charge me for the 2 minute fix. I was so grateful and impressed with the customer service. Will be recommending this place to all friends and family going forward.

Exceptional service. Quick and professional. Phone places get you to buy a new phone .... these folks are the magicians who fix it with small costs (cheaper than a new phone)! They only sell you what you need with superb turnaround time. Don't look any further, come to this location first for all your cell phone needs.

I had an excellent experience. Exceptionally courteous and efficiently replaced my cell phone screen and applied the protector within an hour, at a reasonable price . Should I encounter future issues, this will be my go-to destination without hesitation.
