Staff were friendly and helpful the few times we've been to Indigo. However, the new location feels very sterile and lacks the cozy "library feel" that the previous location and most Coles/Indigo have. The selection is not great and the rickety little white bookshelves just don't make the browsing experience very enjoyable. Will likely be shopping local or ordering online going forward.

Ordered a couple books online with a gift card I got for my birthday.
Sent my husband in to pick them up, he said the staff was nice and efficient. Had a good giggle when the sweet cashier saw the books I picked out were spicy. I ordered them under my husband's name. ? He got some funny looks from the cashier.

Nice clean store, smells great. However, seems less about books and more about merchandise. I can agree with the previous reviews of the staff huddled up at the counter. What happened to the self serve kiosk? I asked about a book, they didn’t have it. Spoke to me very quiet, could hardly understand them. And did not offer me any other option or alternatives. Well Amazon, here I come!

I have only been in the store a few times, each time I have gone in all staff are huddled behind the counter chatting away. I noticed that there were customers standing there waiting to be helped while the staff decided to finish their conversations. The store is small, and selection isn't the greatest. What bothers me the most though, is at Christmas time I had ordered a few things online to be shipped to the store. The delivery was slow, and did not show up by the expected delivery date, I understand that is not the stores fault, however, I was upset when it finally arrived I show up and was given my package that had been ripped open. Why was my package opened? My name and address were clearly on the package, it was not a store inventory shipment. That box should have remained closed! I have had things ordered to stores many times not only through Chapters/Coles but other stores as well and never once have my purchases been opened. I'm new to the area and I am really hoping I can find a local book shop that offers better service.

Excellent and knowledgeable staff. Although with how the genre's are sectioned off there was no horror section, all the horror literature they have and its all kinda spread out between multiple section of multiple genres. But like I said staff was super helpful and knowledgeable.

Went to new location in the mall. Zero customer service! Book selection was horrible. Had nothing we were needing. Tried to shop local, but back to Amazon. Staff were more interested with chatting with each other than helping customers. Not going back ever.

Great bookstore. Had an issue with an online order and acquiring the books before flying home this week. Fortunately Ally, one of the employees, was really helpful in rectifying the issue quickly, and I got the books there and then, for the same price as they were online during the purchase. I always get a friendly service from the team and when I return, would happily buy more books from this store in the future. Thanks guys ?

Went to the new location today, in short. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Selection was horrible, there wasn't anything I could even notice, staff members were more interested in eachother. I stood there waiting for help for close to 20 minutes, and was ignored. Indigo used to be one of my favorite places to go, but not after this. Save your time, patience, and money, and go somewhere else. Used to be a big spender at Coles/Indigo, but thats done, lots of other bookstore to take my money!
