We stayed in the Tuscany Suite on the main floor of the Little Inn. We chose to stay there because my husband has mobility issues but the photos seemed to suggest that he could get up the four steps using the handrail and his cane. I would carry his folding rollator up the steps. |Our first impression when we stood in front of the building was that the stairs, small porch area and front garden had not had any attention in many years. The stairs and landing/porch were in dreadful condition. Chipped paint everywhere but, most importantly, two very loose floor boards. I am totally able bodied, but was very careful on the loose boards. An accident site waiting for something to happen.|When we opened the door to the suite, we were pleasantly surprised by the layout and size of the suite. The king size bed looked inviting and it was very comfortable. Having a sofa and two boxy footrests (can’t recall properly word) was a welcome feature as well. Sadly, our pleasure went downhill when we entered the bathroom. ||I should mention that we immediately noticed paint chips here and there in the the suite
a messy paint job perhaps? But, the frame around the bathroom door was flaked paint everywhere. The bathroom has a very large jacuzzi which takes up half of the room. It looked fine but our eyes were riveted on the state of the floor and the baseboards behind and beside the toilet. Absolutely disgusting. I thought it was grime on the floor and about 24 inches of possibly black mould along baseboard and just above and on floor below. My spouse thought it was possibly just rot because of the age of the building. Whatever it was we decided then and there that we were spending minimal time in the bathroom. We wouldn’t use either the old shower or the jacuzzi. In a nutshell, we just wanted to leave as soon as possible,|We had a dinner reservation in town, so had to spend the night. However, we checked out as soon as possible in the morning. When I went into the main inn reception to say we were checking out, the woman in there just asked our room number
period. Nothing gracious about it. She didn’t even ask if we had enjoyed our stay or if we would like to have some of the complimentary coffee etc. There wasn’t anyone else in the room at the time. I did notice that some of the seating in it looked grubby. Just had an overall impression of a place that was probably very nice in its day but has suffered from a lack of upkeep. It’s a shame because it could be lovely. And, yes, I did take photos of the bathroom and porch.

My hubby booked a room @ the Inn on the Harbour for my 70th| birthday. We had only visited Port Stanley last year to see the beach on a drive and so glad to spend more time here. King size bed & jacuzzi tub with sliding doors to a deck on the water. Big screen TV & nice area in lobby for breakfast with great coffee. Lots of shops to visit & restaurants. We were on the ground floor as there is no elevator.

You can't beat the location of the Inn. And the view from the rooms and the patio is terrific. Check in was seamless. We had a great suite on the third floor (and yes, you do have to walk up stairs). The Inn is a little worn and could use a little deep cleaning, but is comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast is good, and we really loved sitting on the patio.

When we first arrived, there was no one at the front desk. We called out but no one was around. Finally, after about 15 minutes, we found someone to check us in. Our room was on the 3rd floor because my husband wanted a balcony overlooking the harbor which was nice. But, we had to climb up 3 flights of stairs to get to our room! We were not happy about that as we both have bad knees and to carry up our belongings was brutal! Our room overall was nice, fridge was handy, bed was comfortable and we loved the balcony.
Cons: no shampoo or soap in the shower and no blow dyer! And speaking of shower, it was difficult to get into as the tub was very high and no grab bar in the shower. The shower head must be clogged as hardly any water was coming out of it. To pay this amount of money and this is what we get? Definitely not worth it. Almost $700 for 2 nights.

Very quante indoor accommodations, but lots of outdoor space to really give you a great experience. Exactly what we were looking for. Nice deck off of our room overlooking the harbour, bridge, and town. We were even lucky enough to have live entertainment across the harbour from the neighboring brewery. Excellent experience, and the perfect little getaway.

Paid $292.62 to stay in room 8. Mattress was totally worn out. Could see imprint of where two bodies would lie. Sitting on edge, you would sink to box spring. Worst was no drapes or blinds on window facing other windows in condo next door exposing bed. When complaining, they hung a bed sheet on window! Bathroom lock didn’t work. Screen was repaired with lots of clear tape. Three light bulbs were burned out. Furniture definitely needed upgrade. Would in no way recommend this place.

Location great, Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable. Room was not cleaned well - dirty floors, hot tub had hair in it, there was no soap, shampoo or hair dryer in the room, AC was loud with no reading lights for the bed and the stairs to the second floor were cobweb filled and had a broken railing. Very disappointed. Not worth the $300 a night and we were told we would be taken care of - NOT.
