Stopped by this shop on my way to Port Dover. They have LCBO inside the store with great selection (they have all the essentials).

The owners were nice and friendly. Considering how busy it was, the whole transaction was quick and smooth.

Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would come by here again whenever I'm around the area.

The owner, Veronica, even noticed when my Mom was no longer coming in with me. She enquired and I when I told her my Mom had passed, she offered me the kindest words and heart felt condolences. 🥰

Absolutely no idea how they have a 4.2 star rating unless they have all their friends and relatives posting. I wish I could give a negative star even. I absolutely love and fully support local businesses but this is one store I will never step inside again as the mere mention of the place Jarvis Food Mart now sickens me. It was pouring out today and all the parking spaces along the road were full and i was just running into the florist for a moment. The car was running and my wife was in the car and there were no other vehicles there. I would understand if the owner came out and had a pleasant attitude and even asked if we were locals (you know... the people who would actually buy periodically). Instead he frightened my wife as he came out literally stomping quickly towards our car. His stare and his glare did not help and he yelled at me when i returned wet and ready to go even though i was literally 3 minutes gone. He even had a sticker of some sort in his hand knowing full well my wife was in the car. It would be one thing though if it was an isolated incident but that was not the case. I asked one time about a certain item from the lcbo side and was given a rude response. Another time i simply asked if they carried a certain food item and yet again a rude response.  And yet another time our son asked about a soft drink option and you guessed it...another condescending rude reply. Considering the fact their inventory is considerably higher priced you would think they would be pleasant...but no. I will never step foot inside this store and will not use the lcbo part either no matter how urgent the need may be. I understand convenience but i also understand integrity and how people should be treated especially if locals and this place was among the worst i have encountered in my life.

I love this little store! Conveniently close, super friendly owners and the lcbo here is fantastic. Given the size of this store they have a great selection of wine and beer.

Nice family run establishment, big on honesty but $6.75 for off brand chips seems a little steep if you ask me.

Such a nice way to be greeted ! The lady and her family are happy to see you everytime. There's an LCBO location here and all the essentials and a little more that one needs when the grocery stores are closed. It closes at 9, which is perfect when you realize you need another bottle of wine for dinner, or whatever, after the locations have closed on town.
