Edit: 3 months later.. the delivery was smooth and I love my new furniture which is super comfy and well-made.

Great shopping experience! Sales rep extraordinaire, Lisa, spent time with me to ensure I was informed about and tried out, many different styles of recliners and loveseats to ensure I was satisfied with my choices. She also drew a diagram of my living room so we could configure the placement which really helped in the decision! I really appreciate the attention to detail and knowledge she shared with me! I was not rushed and did not feel any pressure to purchase. My items are custom, so it will take time to manufacture (3 months) and have delivered, but I feel confident that I will be happy with my purchase!

We visited La-Z-Boy with the intention of exploring their recliners and were fortunate to be assisted by Lina Najia. Her kindness, honesty, and remarkable patience stood out, making our experience exceptional. We particularly appreciated her straightforward approach and the absence of pressure, which provided us with the necessary space to deliberate on our decision. Lina's willingness to answer our questions while remaining accessible showcased her extensive knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills.
We would also like to express our gratitude to the two gentlemen who delivered our recliner. Their professionalism was evident as they carefully maneuvered the recliner into our home, assembled it efficiently, and thoroughly explained all its features while addressing our questions.

I went into Lazy Boy Kanata to get a recliner that I could sit comfortably and operate. I’m awaiting a hip replacement surgery. Racha went out of her way to show us various models. We went because of the sale. She helped us choose something I could get out of after numerous models I could not operate the hand lever on the side and the rockers were too difficult to get up from. We paid more for a lift chair.she asked if we would be home on the next Wednesday for delivery. She said if I had a prescription from my doctor we could save the tax. What she didn’t tell us is the delivery would not be booked until she received the doctor certificate. She never booked the delivery until we called the Wednesday. We had removed the furniture on Tuesday. The earliest delivery is a week and now a disabled woman has nothing to sit in for a week. No apologies. She said we could come pick it up ourselves? Two seniors and assemble it ourselves after I paid $129 for delivery and assembly. I feel totally lied to and betrayed and in a mess in my own home for a week. Beware of what they DON’T tell you. Buyer beware of fake kindness and compassion which ends when you pay with your credit card.

Worst quality I ever bought! Used to have a cheaper couch from another box store before that lasted us for years. Last year, we decide to splurge, and buy a quality one. Only couch that we liked, was this one at La-Z-Boy. We understood that the price was going to be a lot more since this was real leather, compared to our previous that was leatherette. We paid $13000 for this ''quality couch'', while our previous was $4000 for leatherette.
Waited 3 months for delivery, which again we understood. Our couch was delivered June 2023. In April of this year (10 months later), we noticed that the leather was fading big time! My husband brings a cushion to the store to speak with the manager about it. They seemed insulted that he did this (probably because there were customers there wanting to buy). They told us that our request was sent to service department. A few days later we received an email from them asking us to send a few pictures which we did. After this, we received another email saying someone would come to take picture and see it in person on June 4, 2024, which they did. We then receive another email on June 28 saying that they are reviewing the notes, and should get an update soon. This last Monday July 8, we receive an update email explaining that this is normal wear and tear. They can order seat casing leather replacement at our cost, which comes up to $2279.22 +HST!!! Some seats are ok, and some are like these pictures. This is the service you get when you buy a $13000 couch! Will never be fooled again! I'd rather buy a $4000 leatherette couch that will last us at least 5 yrs, than buying this ''quality'' as they call it!

UPDATE: I was asked to contact them at customer service which I did on July 11, and still didn't hear from yet, today is July 29!

We purchased a new chair less than 3 weeks ago. The salesman was terrific. Chair was Delivered promptly by very professional friendly men. Best furniture company by far for customer service satisfaction.

Tarek and Zeina at La-Z-boy Kanata provided amazing sales and design service. We bought furniture for our dining room, living room, and kitchen island. Our main living areas look amazing and are super comfortable too! Delivery was delayed but that’s expected these days. Well worth the wait!

Purchased 2 recliners from Laz-y-boy on February 1,2024
Paid everything before being delivered. $5570.00
Delivery for both happened on April 27
When I received it, I noticed a stain on the fabric on one chair, and a pleat on the seat cushion of both chairs.

I was told to call the store to do a service request, which I've done. A representative was over the following week.
Told him to take the chair and fix everything, then bring it back

The chair was return again on June 12.
Before bringing the chair in, I've inspected it with the delivery guys.
The stain was still there, and the material on the right hand side in the back was damage. This was not there before.
I've refused the delivery.

Spoke to the store manager during that week, and he assured me that everything would be taken care of. As of today, i am still waiting to hear about my recliner.

I have been in communication with the store manager, and asking for updates.

Laz-Y-Boy will sell you and tell you everything you want.
I expected a very high standard for their service, quality and workmanship.
Well, I was mistaken.

I finally wrote to Customer care and requested a full refund as I am not satisfied at all.

I also decided to write how unsatisfactory I am with this whole experience with Laz-Z-Boy.

I always said, a happy customer is a returning customer, but i guess, that is not what they preach.

We had an excellent experience at La-Z-Boy. Dave Flegg (sales associate) helped us and was very helpful and knowledgeable - he was very laid back and we didn’t feel pressured, which is a nice change! He was awesome!!!
Delivery was fantastic, as well. The guys that delivered were really friendly and did a great job setting up our new chair. They were very respectful of our home - took their shoes off and were very careful moving the chair in. Great job!!!
