Products and store are good however poor customer service. I was looking up an item I was interested in, while waiting for another item I initially came for to be brought out. She asked me if I’m including the secondary item in my purchase and I replied “on second thought I won’t since I found it cheaper online” she replied with a snarky attitude “But we are a Canadian company.” I’m all for supporting Canadian companies, hence why I come in to buy things here. However when it’s marked up 2x more, I’m not going to throw away money. I found the interaction between her and I rude enough that I needed to post a review. She was short with me after she said that.

Very cool store. I plan on returning when I have more time. I'm a fan of collecting knives with interesting history. Found the Douk Douk and Opinel 8. I think my next purchase is a decent axe.

Like always, Lee Valley is choked full of many different type of merchandises from gardening, to woodworking, to cooking and baking etc. Actually I usually choose not to visit too often as there are too many temptations too spend money on things I didn’t even know I ‘needed’ ☺️
The people here are always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful … no longer common in most shopping experiences.
A great place for Christmas shopping, especially if you have a deep pocket and stuck for a good Christmas gift ideas.

I bought a solar light from Kitchener Lee Valley and it was great. I wanted another one. They didn't have any more (promotion item) and didn't know if there would be more, so I put a note in their suggestion box that they try, as it was a good item. I suddenly got a call from them saying the lights were in how many did I want? Wonderful service!!

I have been shopping at this location for the past three years. The service provided has been consistently better than what I have experienced at other retailers. There are always staff on shift who can provide insight and feedback on products I am interested in; much of the staff are woodworking enthusiasts!

Pricing is competitive when comparing apples to apples. The staff here are knowledgeable and professional.

Brutal service. Stood around like a lost puppy for 20 minutes at their customer service counter, just to ask a simple question about an out of stock item. No staff approached. Nobody asked to help. Ultimate slap in the face is when they help people who were waiting half the time you were, because you didn't realize you need to take a number?

Pathetic. I left without even being able to ask for help. 3:30 PM Wednesday April 24
