The cashier at the customer service and returns was very rude and did not help at all. Instead of understanding what I wanted and help me find the item since the item could not be found on the floor, and they did not give rain-check's. The cashier Instead of being helpful, gossiped about what I wanted with other employees in-front me, while I waited for the manager to arrive. Even when the manager arrived, her tone of communication was as if she could not be bothered to be talking with me. I was able to get the item I was looking for but the behavior of both the cashier and the manager were not ideal, not what you would want from a no frills.

I’ve been living in this Neighbourhood of don mills and finch for eight years now and has been going to the same no frill for the same number of years. Apparently today the store looked a little empty, like the stuff was not restocked and the things were empty. so I asked the cashier lady at number one “ Hey how come the store looks a little empty are you guys moving things around”? Her response was “you are the only one saying it maybe you are blind”? She is an older brown lady, and I think she should use her words a little more carefully, instead of saying I’m blind she could have just said she is not aware. If the management is reading this, please train your staff to be a better customer service representative. Thank you

Yes, I was late in returning product. Did not accept although product in good condition and returnable. Not cooperative. No one time exception, although product purchased in error as someone by mistake put in my cart. Now I do not feel like going to this store. Yes, will go other nearby store going forward. By this decision of store, they lost consistent and good customers. I never returned any product before in so many years of shopping at No-Frills.

Worst store. Backstory, my mom came from another store to pickup items that weren't on this store and had them in her bag. When my mom is at self check-out the machine queued for assistance and the person who attended the machine saw my mom's bag with items (aren't from the store). The staff was loud investigating the scenario and my handed the receipt to the staff and she's just looking and reading through the receipt and my mom pulled out all the items bought from a different store and the staff said it was unnecessary. This is extremely humiliating especially in front of a crowd. My mom then was told that it's forbidden to bring items that aren't from the store. Mind you, my mother is at the self checkout about to pay for the items she's getting from this store. How was she being investigated for stealing if she was in fact standing on self checkout and was about to pay if not because of the error on the machine? Don't just hire people! Train them properly with customer service. Your people are no frills. You embody no frills. Simple principle not met.

I went to the No Frills at this location to buy strawberries that were advertised at $4 a pint. I really wanted to buy them, but when I picked up a pack, they were moldy and rotting. How does a big-name supermarket like No Frills have the nerve to put moldy fruit on the shelves at full price? That’s disgusting and unacceptable.

And it’s not just the strawberries. Blueberries and raspberries in tiny plastic containers were also $4—ridiculous for the size and quality. Price gouging has clearly become a hobby for these big supermarkets, and it’s happening more and more.

On top of that, customer service is basically non-existent. The staff clearly don’t want to be there. You can tell they’re just going through the motions to collect a paycheck, with zero care for the customer experience or store standards.

No Frills is supposed to be about affordability and essentials, but now it feels like a money grab where quality and decency don’t matter. Disgraceful.

This grocery store is a decent place to shop, offering a wide variety of essential items. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist, making the shopping experience smooth and pleasant. You can find almost everything you need, from fresh produce to pantry staples. However, when I visited, I couldn’t find any green peppers, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, the store was well-stocked, clean, and organized. While it’s not the best grocery store I’ve been to, it still provides a convenient shopping experience with helpful service.
