I don't know why the bad reviews, but my experience at the Yorkdale location was very pleasant. I was helped by an associate named Cynthia (she's Chinese). As soon as I entered the store she went to me and asked me if I needed help. She took the time to answer all my questions about the purses that I was looking for and catered to my every needs. She even offered my husband and I coffee/water too. I spent almost an hour there but it didn't phased her, she was ready to help me. I'm very happy with my experience here at this Longchamp location, it was also my first time going to this location and Cynthia helped me until the end. Shout out to Cynthia for an excellent time at the Yorkdale location. Thank you.

I agree some of the associates weren’t approachable and just looked at me initially. But I saw this other lady helping another customer and she gave me the sweetest smile even when she was busy, so I went to her and she got the sale! Thanks Cindy, it was an excellent service. Keep up the good work.

Today I went to the Longchamp store at Yorkdale and had one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve ever had. I purchased a bag, but instead of receiving the standard Longchamp shopping bag, they handed me my new purse in a cheap paper bag that looked like something from a grocery store.

At first, I questioned it, but continued walking around the mall — only to notice that everyone else leaving the store had the proper green Longchamp bag. I went back to ask about it, and the associate told me they were “all out.” The issue? I could literally see the green bags sitting there in the store. She had the audacity to lie straight to my face instead of simply offering one.

Not only was this insulting, it made me feel disrespected as a customer. Is this discrimination? It certainly felt that way. Hire better associates!

I wasn’t planning to leave a review, but after reading others’ comments, I realized we weren’t alone in how we were treated.

We had a horrible experience at this store. My friend and I waited at the counter for about 15 minutes, patiently standing by while the staff assisted other clients—which we understood, as it was a busy day. But what really shocked us was what happened next: once an associate became available, they completely ignored us and went to help a family that had arrived at least 10 minutes after us and was clearly behind us at the counter.

It felt like we were overlooked simply because we didn’t “look the part”—maybe because of how we were dressed or the assumption that we weren’t going to make a purchase. Whatever the reason, being bypassed so blatantly was not only disappointing, it was embarrassing.

Good selection of product but bad salespeople. I normally go for inspiration and if there’s something that catches my eyes I would buy it. But my experience has been that once the salespeople figured out you are just browsing, they won’t even take the effort to say “hello” and when you ask them to show you something, normally it’s cold and disengaged, which makes me think “it’s okay I don’t need this piece”. They have coffee machine and all to show their hospitality but it’s never used, and that speaks louder than words on how truly hospitable they really are. Focus on making real connections rather than performance, retail job is not easy I get that, but I don’t want to spend a single penny on vain and fake salesperson. Save your flattery and praises on those who need constant external validations.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Longchamp store in Yorkdale Mall. I came in hoping to get support with repairing my bag, which has frayed at all four corners. Instead, I was met with vague, dismissive responses and zero effort to actually help. The associate told me repairs “might not be possible” based on the size of the damage, but couldn’t provide any clear explanation or criteria for what qualifies.

The lack of transparency and unwillingness to assist was frankly unacceptable, especially from a brand that markets itself as high quality and service-driven. I left the store feeling frustrated and completely unsupported.

Longchamp — if you’re reading this, I strongly encourage you to reevaluate the customer experience at this location. I expected far better.

I went into the Longchamp store for the first time ever today and was lucky enough to be assisted by a lovely man named Brian. He was incredibly kind, helpful and patient as I chose a bag. I’m very happy with my purchase and will absolutely be coming back for future purchases (hopefully when Brian is working!).

My parents visited the Longchamp Yorkdale store on my behalf, and were assisted by Rina on day 1. I was interested in buying a specific colour and size which happened to be out of stock. Rina confirmed that they would receive a new consignment the next day, and even handed over her contact details so my parents could contact her before coming the next day. Like she promised, the product was available the next day. While Rina was on leave that day, the SA Chiara kept the bag to the side for my parents, and even got the product gift-wrapped.

I had been worried reading the previous reviews and was hoping my parents would not be subjected to a poor treatment. But all my misgivings were put to rest by the super helpful Rina and Chiara.
